Poseidon lunged forward and attacked with 40 Day Flood at full power, moving faster and attacking deeper than before.
40 Day Flood was when Poseidon creates an enormous dome of after images akin to a whirlpool, unleashing trident strikes that combine his divine might and godly speed.
Gilgamesh quickly dodged the attacks that were aimed at her, opening her gates as she allowed swords and spears to block the after images. She could feel the grazes that managed to pass through her defences onto her armor or face as she dodged left from right.
Gilgamesh opened another gate allowing a sword to appear in her hands to quickly deflect the oncoming attacks and advanced with every attack that Poseidon thrusted at her. The Sea God couldn't fathom what he was seeing, there was no way a mortal or Demigod could be this strong! It wasn't possible!
"Are you done mongrel, you only managed to leave one scratch on me yet you still continue to defy me." Stated Gilgamesh, holding her sword.
This was where the mark of history would be made, for everyone here this was where everything would change.
Gilgamesh attacked, swinging her sword as she chopped off Poseidon's right arm. The God gave the half God a dead look of rage as the pain and burning anger once again gripped him, he grabbed the hand that was still holding the trident and gripped onto it tightly.
Poseidon moved his trident to pierce Gilgamesh's skull but with quick actions she moved to block the attack and twist it away from his hands causing Poseidon to loosen his grip on his falling weapon.
Quickly Poseidon moved to grab the trident with his mouth and with one last attack at the mortal scum before him, but Gilgamesh easily evaded this attack and backed away from her opponent taking in the sight of the bleeding god.
"HAHAHA~!!!, a sight so amusing that it made me laugh, King Gilgamesh died from laughter by a Gods death, how amusing," laughed King Gilgamesh as her eyes were filled with amusement as it became evident that the Gods were at the losing point. "but I must say mongrel you look like a dog, don't worry though, these insects are worse."
Gilgamesh stood staring at her weak bleeding opponent as a bloodthirsty grin appeared on her face. The crowd shivered in fear as they felt the cold pressure threatening to strangle them.
"Well this was amusing, but you already lost this battle when it started, now it's my turn mongrel.", said Gilgamesh holding out her hand as a stone tablet appeared. Around her, gold runes appeared as the winds blew harshly around the arena and above appeared the gates of babylon that was all directed to Poseidon.
"Witness the might and loyalty of the people of Uruk." Shouted Gilgamesh as cannons appeared from her gates causing the winds to blow harshly at the power Gilgamesh was releasing. The crowd had to hold on to each other, but Humanity continued to cheer for their King as the Gods gritted their teeth at this display.
"Draw your arrows, I shall allow it! Witness the defense of Uruk, the greatest and richest of cities! The deluge of the land is my will! Melammu Dingir!", said Gilgamesh as a range of weapon were fired intently at Poseidon causing smoke and earthquakes on the arena.
Melammu Dingir: King's Signal Cannon was a long-range bombardment of noble phantasms that concentrates the total force of Gilgamesh and the people of Uruk that lived in the Age of Gods. They load and fire thousands of weapons from his Gate of Babylon as Broken Phantasms to annihilate anyone that threatens the people. The crowds eyes closed and they began to cough as the smoke cleared. In just a few seconds the attack had been stopped but there was too much dust to witness the final result. Humanity and the Gods were at the end of their seats to witness the last one standing, so a Wind God quickly blew away the dust so that the result of the winner was seen.
There was silence for a moment, a single pause for everyone to absorb what had just happened. After that, all of Humanity cheered as some even shed tears of joy for Gilgamesh's victory.
"Dear, see this of course my daughter would win against this mongrels" said the similar looking woman who turned to look at her husband who stared at the arena with pride.
"W-w-we won, YEAH~!!!." Shouted Göll, crying at the sight and revelation of Humanity's first win. Brunhilde smiled with happiness smirking at the gawking angry Gods who were silent. Lu Bu stood with a smirk at this impressive feat that he had failed at, but would love to fight again against a strong opponent. While Eve and her children cheered, Adam stood staring at the proud Gilgamesh admiringly as the sun reflected off her and smiled from the corner of his lips.
Clearly within the arena, crossarmed was Gilgamesh smirking as her people cheered and across her was a defeated Poseidon in a giant crater, but the Gods were angrily shouting at their loss and denied them losing by trying to say the King had cheated.
"UNBELIEVABLE! HUMANITY HAS ITS FIRST WIN OVER THE GODS!" Heimdall shouted, with a bandaged shoulder.
And so it happened, a God had fallen to a demigod in the face of this unshakeable inconceivable reality before them. The Gods could only silently gaze down or shout in anger. For Humanity had finally gained a win against the Gods, revealing just how strong they were.
