We came to a large room with the Creepers and other Draconians and the Creepers backed up into the wall.
"Their afraid of us! Ha!" Mjulik chuckled to us. We laughed with him. You see many things think of us as feirce, dangerous creatures that kill without reason. Well while we are feirce and dangerous it is rare that we kill without reasons, we are actully are intellectual and are fair judges. If what the trapped Creeper told us was true they will live but not without punishment and then once free of punishment we will make a treaty with them most likely.
" Are you the elders or leaders of the Creeping race? " Mjulik asked hiding his emotions and our races secret from them and of course acting like a feirce proud dragon."Creeping?" The fore frontest one asked cautiously.
"We have named your race Creepers because we do not know your races name and you creep in the dark taking our hatchlings." he responded sternly."Oh. Well to answer your first question yes we are the elders O' Dragons. Our race is simply known as Cavers but if you wish to call us Creepers you may. My name in this tongue is difficult so you can call me Teropit, may I ask your leaders name and for them to step foword so I know to whom I speak?" Teropit asked in the most pleasent voice he could muster with his high nasally irritable voice.
"I Mjulik speak," he started as he steppedup half unfurling his wings as a sign of dominanc" and I am the leader of sky dragons! " he finished with a intimidating roar."Leader of sky dragons? Aren't all dragons belonging to the sky? I do not mean to affend but why do you enter our caves if you are sky dragons? " The creature asked with a hint of curiosity and crudeness.
"Sky dragons are but one type of dragon. We are more comfortable in the air and we can control it ever so lightly. Last of all we are forced in this rock holes because of winter we must move. Tell me does that answer your questions Creeper!" he started getting annoyed."No. I guess its my turn to tell our story."
"Zesa beii gutil san byrec lae geri buliriffa (Do we have to tell them the truth)?" another creature spoke. Many nodded in agreement.
"BULSA! Cesa beii gutil san lae geri lea buliriffa! Faseu vuly bula beii bokl hatcuktules! hulat Gulla gyty sompkas kikr vulatasners gyta vequasis.(Creeper that spoke before!yes we have to tell them the truth! You forget that we took their hatchlings! You sons and daughters of weaklings and cowards.) " the leader rebuked harshly shaking his head as he muttered something under his breath.
"What do your kinsmin talk about oh leader of Creepers? "" They wanted to tell you false truth but that will not happen for dragons don't take idily to being lied to." he responded for the first time like a long lived traveler that has met many a dragons.Mabey he has and thats why he is the leader? I quickly linked that thout to the surrounding dragons who quickly gave approval. Mjulik furled his wings into his rough hide and starting lower himself and we obeyed and folloed his lead. The Creepers looked amazed by the obedience.
"Instead of telling me show me."
"How Mjulik how?" he sounded old and tired again.
"If you do not know how then let me enter your memories and all my kinsmin will veiw all stories of every one in your flock, Teropit.""Very well." he turned to his kinsmin"Sera draaconiian deta delsa milkot. des fohl fesr del fohl Terolinikasaerapit buhg fohl(Let dragons enter your mind. You don't do you will die by Teropit.)." he finished and told us of his threat to his kind if they do not obey. He also aked us to tell him what kinsmin of him refuses us. He sat down and, out of what I could smell they sat out of fear of Teropit and us.
" Find a creeper and partner up. View their memories of hatchling stealing. If they refuse send their name to me. UNDERSTOOD! GO!"
We picked our ways carefully sniffing each one while Mjulik and Teropit had a staring contest by the looks. I sniffed the one in the far back and connected to its mind.
"Its okay. Name child." I linked it sensing it was a outcast of the flock and a child. She was burning to tell someone her story I could sense it."Zerlapan... and yours dragon?" she asked cautiously.
"Sangour. Let me entr your memories. ""Very well enter if you dare." she said darkly. Regardless I entered and slowed her racing mind and enter her memories as the staring contest started.
Images of dark cold nights started to flood in my mind. A small fire was light not to far away. I snuck closer.
"...they're to dangerous to face..."
"... their young should not be taken for food though..." I approached carefully and cautious of the scruffing of feet on stone and the light.
"We have no other alternatives. They are dragons let us remember. They killed hundreds of us in Yeral. Hundreds can you argue with that Derot?" my farther challenged.
"Yes for their long dead ancestors do they have to pay a price? I've watched them from the shadows and they seem just as kind. I promise you they remember not what we do. I was there on the battle field just as several of you but in the hundreds of years I've lived I've learned to ignore hatred." Derot said...............................................................................................I skipped forward... Today the Sequalts will rise from the dirt that we live in! We will take what is needed for food from the dragons young! We will show them what we have not forgotten!..." my farther continued but I disagree with evry word he says and notice my uncle also shaking his head as well as countless of others who still remembered 'The Battle of Yeral ' ........................................................ I skipped forward again......... Ahh the fresh air, I've missed it so much. Now for food. I sniffed my surroundings and smelt nothing but fire and dragons. I walked a little ways from the caverns entrance and smelt a plump ill buck and started tracking it......... the memories faded away.
"Sangour I've never touchrd the young you hsve seen all that is relavent to the topic. What is your judgement?"
" I believe you child but it is not my decision of what happens to you. It is Mjulik's." I removed my presence in her mind and walked to Mjulik who was taking reports.
