Chapter 6. Letter from UA!

Killua's pov

*one week later*

"KILLUA!!!" Gon screamed,running after me. I was practicing some new skate tricks on the concrete.

"What!?! Did something happen?!?!" I jumped off the skateboard, holding it in my arms running over to gon

"We got letters!!!" He held up the envelopes waving them in front of my face

"Huh?"

"This ones for you!" He tossed it over. I looked at it for a moment, holding it up to my face squinting.

"Gon."

"Yes?" He tilted his head to the side.

"I can't read it."

"...I can't either," he shrugged. "But the big building we went to for the exam had the same thing on it!"

"Oh yeah!" I took another look at the letter. "Let's open them?" I questioned

"Yeah! You go first!" Gon cheered. I let out a small chuckle as I stepped over to the tent.

"Gimme a second!" I said, climbing into the tent and sitting down on the ground. I wonder why we still get the letters even though we have technically already gotten into the school. I mean, I guess they probably are to tell us our score or maybe an evaluation?

or I took a deep breath and tore open the envelope in one go, a disk flying out of it and hitting the side of the tent. I eyed it for a moment confused before it lit up and a buff man appeared in front of me.

"I AM HERE!!" He said with his hands on his hips.

"Jeez there's no need to shout!" I replied, it didn't talk back. I hummed. It's probably a projection, most likely a recording.

"You were able to get the highest score with...127 VILLAIN POINTS!?!" I smirked. I already knew how many points I had so watching the disbelief on this guy's face is just hilarious.

"This kid broke the record?..." he whispered, probably talking to someone behind the camera or something. He cleared his throat.

"Wow...ANYWAY!! Even though you were able to retrieve that many villain points, you didn't even try the written exam." His smile annoys me. "Wait, why didn't the kid try?" He whispered again. The reason I didn't try is because I don't care.

He cleared his throat again.

"Rescue points were also a factor in the exam! I am sorry to tell you that you didn't receive any though"

I sighed, placing my hands behind my head. It was obvious that rescue points were a thing. But there is literally no point in looking for someone to save when you can rack up points by beating the shit outta robots instead.

"SO! 127 POINTS FOR KILLUA ZOLDYCK! you're in! This will be your hero academy!" The projection cut out leaving the tiny device on the ground. I sighed again, opening the tent and calling out for gon. He was practicing skating on my board by the street.

"Coming!" He yelled, hoping off and running over.

"It's your turn dummy" I chuckled.

Gon crawled out of the tent with a big smile beaming off of him.

"What's got you so happy hm?" I asked, placing my hands in my pockets and walking over to him. He stood up looking at me with an excited look in his eyes.

"KILLUA!!! WE DID IT!!!" He yelled, tackling me to the ground.

"GON!-''I stopped for a moment to look at his smile. It was so kind and innocent, I wish this would just never end. Feeling an embrace from someone who actually cares about you. And just never wanting to let go.

For now, I'll keep the entire recommendation thing a secret, let him have his happiness.

I smiled back letting out a little giggle. "I'm guessing you passed?"

He nodded his head and let go of the hug, backing up a bit. I stared at him for a second, confused.

"We should celebrate!!" He cheered. I chuckled, agreeing.

Gon reached his hand out in front of me and smiled, I smiled back, grabbing his hand and he immediately jumped onto my skateboard pulling me on .

I almost slipped and he grabbed onto my other hand keeping me up

"You're good at skating alone, but can you skate with another person on board?" He giggled

"Is this a challenge?" I smirked.

Gon sent a smirk straight back "maybe" he shrugged "guess we'll find out!" He kicked his leg off the ground pushing us onto the concrete.

"Do you even know where we're going!?" I scolded him

"Nope! But like i said! We're gonna find out!"

Nobody's pov

They ended up skating down the streets, the good part about this is that the street they were on looked mostly abandoned, there weren't many cars and when there were cars they stopped and made sure not to hit the crazy teens swerving down the road trying not to fall on their asses.

At one point they hit the gutter and flew onto the grass beside the street. They both laughed laying down on the grass. Gon turned to the side and looked at Killua smiling. Killua turned his head looking right back at him.

"So! Are you having fun yet?" Gon giggled. Killua gave a look of disbelief before laughing at him.

"We just flew across the road!!" There was a short period of silence and for a moment gon got worried. "Of course I'm having fun you idiot!!" He chuckled.

Gon smiled again, seeing Killua happy. Killua stood up, picking up the skateboard and reaching out for Gon's hand to help him up. Gon grabbed onto his hand and stood up.

They looked each other in the eyes, both thinking the same thing 'this is gonna be fun'

(Yo! Author here! I apologize for not uploading another chapter for a while, I've been really busy recently! Then again you're not here reading this to listen to my life, so i'll give some more updates on the story instead!)

(For this story in particular I'm wondering if I should switch up the timeline and make it so it's after the chimera ant arc already? I realize how strong they are after it and plus, it would work more for the storyline on this! I didn't start off this story with the chimera ant arc because I didn't have access to be able to watch it until now. So if you have an opinion on the matter then feel free to comment and tell me what you think!)
