CHAPTER 15

JENNIE POV

"Jennie, sweetie?" I just stare at the door again for the nth time today where mom is continuously knocking. Last night, I was in Lisa's condo but when I woke up, I was already here in my own room. I understand why Lisa brought me home. I guess she doesn't want to see me and last night was just an exception, I guess~

"Jennie dear, breakfast is here" I ignore mom and turn around then look at me and Kai's picture beside mine and Lisa's picture.

"I'm not perfect Lili, I sorry for the pain and I hope you will forgive me" I grab our picture then hug it. I close my eyes and I feel my tears pouring down again for the nth time today

"Jennie? What happened? You need to come out, you need to fit your wedding dress and finalize the photos"

"Go away m-mom, I need space"

"Ok, I'll be back" I heard mom's faint voice and footsteps

LISA POV

"Ms. Manoban, here are the files that you need to sign for today" Jae-hwan, my secretary puts the files on my desk "You also have a meeting by lunch time and 2 meetings by afternoon" He said

I just nod as an answer and continue staring at city view outside my window "Jae-hwan..."

"Yes Ms. Manoban?"

"What's your advice? If you deeply love someone and she invites you to her wedding, will you go or not"

"If you still have strong feelings for her, then don't. You will end up getting hurt big time"

"Ok thanks Jae" I sigh and close my eyes then open it again when I thought of something....

"Jae? Book me a ticket to Hong kong. I'll be leaving tonight" I turn around and face him "Find me a good place to stay too. I might stay there longer"

"Copy Ms. Manoban" He bows and leaves

"I think I'll be good for now...I'm sorry Nini if I can't attend your wedding" My tears starts falling as I grab our picture on my desk and hide it inside my desk. I quickly wipe my tears and start signing the papers before my meeting for today

"Ms. Manoban, you have 30 minutes before your first meeting" Jae-hwan enters

"Ok Jae, please pre-" I stop and grab my phone when it vibrates in my pocket "Hello?"

"Lisayah~"

"Aunty? Why did you call?" I turn away from Jae-hwan and look at the time

"Jennie...She hasn't been going out of her room and she's not eating. Kai is here but it seems she doesn't want to talk to him" Jennie's mom stated. I just sigh and rub my face. I think it's my last time to see Jennie before she's getting married since I'm leaving tonight too

"Aunty, I'm on my way!" I quickly end the call "Jae! Cancel all my appointments now. I have an emergency" I quickly grab my things and leave my office

"What's going on Jennie?" I bite my lips while I was looking for the fastest way to get to the Kim's house "What is-" I finally snap on my thoughts when i remember what happen last night. She was crying...Was it something connected to Kai? Oh he better get ready!

I finally arrive at her house and rush inside, upstairs to her bedroom where I saw Aunty and the dog standing outside

"Lisa, thank you" Aunty smiles and knock on Jennie's door "Jen?"

"IF KAI IS HERE TELL HIM TO GO AWAY!"

When I heard Jennie. I quickly glare at Kai, I want to punch him but Aunty is here. I turn to aunty and gently carry the tray of food for her "Let me aunty~" I smile

"Aigoo~ I'm glad you're here Lisa. I know she will let you in" Aunty smiles and leaves me with Kai. I smile back and was about to knock when Kai holds my arm

"L-let me" He mumbles

"Well suit yourself" I give him the tray and lean on the wall. I watch him take a deep breath and knock on Jennie's door

"Babe? Hey babe, I'm sorry, I know what I did was wrong bu-"

"FUCKING LEAVE!"

I scoff and glare at Kai "You've reached my limit" I grab the tray from him "You did something wrong huh? Is that why she cried last night?" I scoff again

"Li-"

"Stay away" I push him aside then knock on Jennie's door "Jennie? Nini? It-" Before I finish the door finally opens and I was being drag inside

"Jen~" I put the tray on the table and face her but I was shock when she hugs and cries on my chest

"Lisa! Please don't leave me! Please don't!"
