It was all over. Right when Keigo was imprisoned, you had been freed. Of course, you knew you still had to testify against him in the trial you had to do. Weeks up to it, you had constant nightmares and could barely sleep, tossing and turning, thinking of him, waiting for you. Haunting you.
When the time finally came, your mother and your friends were there for you. And you testified against him in court. You looked him in the eyes and you told everyone about what he did to you.
Starting from the beginning, of how he manipulated you, and purposefully destroyed your mental state, pouring work onto you, to how he stalked you and made you feel unsafe, to how he murdered Hanake, to how he sexually harassed you, drugged you, and kidnapped you, and murdered Misaki, and kept you trapped inside his home.
His lawyer tried to make a case talking about your mental health and saying that you were crazy about him, but it didn't work, and in the end, the judge believed you. Everyone finally believed you, and the truth was revealed.
Keigo was charged with life in prison, being forced to stay in Tartarus for the rest of his life, the place where no villain nor hero could ever escape. You cried and cried when it happened. When you heard the news. Not because you were sad, because you were happy, truly happy. You finally had your justice.
You decided to keep the child you were pregnant with, finding yourself growing attached to them. They were with you through all of this, after all, you couldn't just let them go.
And so, you gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl, which you named Misaki. Your friends managed to help you get a job, and you even rose through the ranks to become president at the company. You even wrote a best-selling book.
It finally seemed like you got your happy ending.
THE END.
