"Noah" she whispered
"Brie?" I whisper back while looking down at her. She was laying down on the grass with her head on my lap.
"What if we never met?" I find it quick to understand that she's just having one 'her' moments right now.
To which I answer, "Maybe who's responsible for the 11:11 wishes, would have gotten tired of my blabbering for a perfect human i.e.", I pause intentionally to anticipate her, "You."
Her overthinking face melts into a heartwarming smile as I can't help but smile along with her, not taking eyes off from her irresistible baby pink lips. We both find ourselves in a moment silence which is broken when the gentle breeze blows and the rustling of the grass continues.
Not to our surprise, it wasn't the only thing causing the greens to rustle.Soon we both find ourselves, locked lips, underneath the open sky complimented with stars and the full moon. This is the only moment in a long time, we both found ourselves pouring our passionate selves out on each other.
literally
Brie pulls back as we both drown in each other's eyes and I think of nothing but her on my mind. It felt like time had stopped and I grew unaware of my surroundings. At that very moment, all I wanted was - more of her.
Without thinking twice, I crash my lips against hers only for her to do the same.
Our night-time stargazing had certainly become something else of a totally different caliber. The howling of the wolves in the distance with the full moon and her in my arms just provided the perfect adrenaline rush.
We notice flashes of light in the distant night sky as we long to find out what it may be. To our surprise, it was a meteor shower.
Brilliant
What better way to spend tonight, with the love of your life, under the starry night sky, on a full moon, and just fortunate enough to witness a meteor shower. It doesn't get any better than this.
Sitting down on the grass again, this time with my head on her lap, we indulge ourselves in the absolutely mesmerizing sight of "shooting stars". The excitement on Brie's face could be seen from a mile away and her smile seemed to know no end.At this point, I couldn't lay my eyes off this beautiful woman. She is just something else.
"I love stars", she squeals, "You know what's better than stars? SHOOTING STARS". Her display of enthusiasm lit a spark of excitement in me as well.
"I love stars too", I say as she looks at me, "But not just any star". With the addition of my second phrase, her face broke into sheer curiosity and perplexion.
"I love only ONE star, and it's a very special one", I drop hints as she still doesn't seem to quite understand the symbolism.
Getting up from rest, I gaze into her eyes as her does into mine. Gently crashing our heads together with the meteor shower perfectly complimenting the situation, I let out, "You're my star".
