The Female Titan

Lucy's POV:

"It's officially begun, the 57th recon mission! Scouts, move out!"
I heard the commander roar as our horses flew through the gate running out into the rubbled streets of the once populated wall Maria,
Dust rose as the clopping of horseshoes overshadowed our own thoughts,
We rode on, our anticipation high until we heard Hange shout,
"We've got a 10 meter closing in on the left side!"
Hange mumbled something under their breathe before continuing,
"Nevermind! Let's let the support squad do their job!"
I looked up as the sound of odm gear flew across my head heading towards the Titan,
I watched on as the elites sliced through the titans neck spewing blood across the surrounding rubble,
"Too shallow" I heard one of them shout as the Titan began to run towards us,
Sasha squealed behind me,
"Eyes front it's their job to handle it and yours to keep moving!"
I head one of the section commanders shout to her,
I held my breathe for a moment fighting the urge to look towards the 10 meter,
We continued to speed past it as the section commander now shouted to all of us,
"Forward!"

We continued to the open land in front of us Commander Erwin at the front,
We broke out from the last parts of rubble as Commander Erwin rose his left arm up,
"Long Range scouting formation! Let's go!"
He shouted,
I looked at Brooke momentarily,
"Good luck!" She shouted out before riding off with Reiner into the distance,
I nodded as Jean also Broke off,
"Do us a favour" he turned to Armin,
"If you see one don't piss yourself"
I sniggered as He took off on his horse Riding along with one of the other cadets,
"Yeah you too"
Armin called out to him knowing he was already too far away to hear it.

Armin and I stuck together in the formation as instructed,
We rode side by side about 10 meters separating us watching as one by one the rest of the squad members broke off riding far away,
We rode in silence for a moment as birds flew from the trees,
I looked at Armin who was already sweating like he was going to die,
"Armin did you not listen to a Jean?"
He looked at me confused,
"You haven't even seen a Titan yet and I swear ur pants have got darker"
He looked at me confused for a moment obviously not getting the joke before we heard a bang in the distance,
Crows were sent fleeing into the air again as we turned towards the sound.

Red smoke flew up into the air streaking the sky with a ruby colour,
I looked at armin momentarily before hearing a second bang another signal appearing,
Several over signals were sent off red blending into the sky before a green signal was sent off by commander Erwin,
I lashed the reigns of my horse causing it's position to change as we rode further west to avoids the titans position.

We continued to ride on in silence Armin's face scrunched up from thinking too hard,
"Armin have you got a stick up your ass what's up?"
He looked at me confused again before I rolled my eyes,
"The face your making you look extremely deep in thought about something and not the good type either"
He looked up to the now clear sky for a second before looking back a worry now crossing his face,
"Just- don't you think it's been too long since the last signal? Something feels... off"
He looked down scrunching his face again,
"I don't know maybe the titans are all sleeping or having a party right now you don't know what they do in their spare-"
I was cut off by the sound of a bang again this time however,
A black line of smoke struck the sky causing my heart to race slightly,
I looked over at the black streak for a moment before having my ears shot half to death by Armin firing his own black smoke signal,
"Ow hey warn me next time!"
I covered my ear startled from the firing,
"Sorry but that means- an abnormals here!" Armin shouted and as if on queue,
A weird waddling Titan emerged from the trees two soldiers following it closely,
They got closer as I realised one of the soldiers was section commander Ness,
He shouted out to the other soldier as the Titan picked up its speed,
Me and Armin watched on anxiously as Ness and the other soldier took out the abnormal in two swoops,
"That's was so cool!"
I shouted out to Ness as Armin's face lit up,
They got back on their horses as Armin's face suddenly changed,
A faint thud could be heard in the distance as it seemed a second abnormal was running our way,
"Jesus another one"
I rolled my eyes before hearing the thud pick up at an abnormal pace,
I looked up feeling a shock run through my whole body as the abnormal sprinted straight towards us,
Armin fired another black smoke signal onto the air as we watched from afar,
"Why's it moving so fast?!" I asked Armin beginning to panic slightly,
"I don't know!" He said obviously more panicked than I was.
The Titan was completely covered in muscle, it had short blonde shoulder length hair and piercing blue eyes,
