Mirabels pov
I wake up to luz screaming at something apparently this magic world we stumbled into wasn't just a big dream and it was real i get up to see what was luz screaming about i went downstairs to see her dressed as a stereotypical witch with a name tag that said witch apprentice luz with stars around it "luz what are you doing?"
"Mirabel your awake!!! This fantasy world wasn't a dream!! And look I found this witch outfit in edas closet want one?"
"Luz please dont tell me your actually going to wear that when eda starts to teach us magic?"
"So what if i am? I think it looks nice"
Just then eda walked in going towards the fridge with a mug floating behind her
"Good morning eda the owl lady im ready to start my witch training!" Luz said looking very excited
Eda then turned around and looked at luz and me "who are you two again?"
"Wait you dont remember us? We took down the evil warden and freed the oppressed yesterday"
"Luz dont be so shocked remember she just met us yesterday".
"Please dont bother me too much until I've had my apple blood". The owl lady said as she grabbed a mug and went into the fridge
"Dont you mean apple juice?"
"Nope"
After that luz just started asking many questions at once like when will she be teaching magic special staffs magical quest etc.
"Luz calm down i really doubt that its going to happen that quickly lets just take it slow".
"I agree with the girl" the owl lady said taking a sip from her mug "being a witch takes time and only proven ones get magic staffs".
"Here ill show you mines" eda says as she gets off the table and sticks her hand out magic staff come to me
There was a moment of silence before there was noise coming from a room down the hall as the staff appeared and made its way toward its owner hitting her in the face
"Its early now usally you would learn magic from a magic school like hexside but with me as your teacher you'll be taking a different approch" the owl says as she throws a bag of potions on the ground
"You 2 will have to work for it on weekends i usually sell what owlbert finds in the human realm but on most days i go deliver elixirs and potions you 2 will go out a give these potions to my clients you'll go to the nearby town but be careful i have rivals everywhere who want to take me down"
"Sounds fair enough" i said picking up the sack of potions
"And king will be going with you because i doubt you 2 will know where to go"
King grumbles as he gets up and walks towards me and luz
"Be back before nightfall" the owl lady says before closing the door
As we made our way through the town me and luz were mesmerized by everything there until king told us to stop staring
"Sorry its just that I've only seen places like this in my dreams its amazing! And im the only human here?"
"Haven't seen any others so yeah" king responded
"There must be a reason for that what if im a chosen hero destined for greatness!?"
"I heavily doubt that" i responded to her
"Where just some random kids who chased an owl through a door and ended up here"
