Fresh
Water.
Beautiful
And very vast
Stretching on for miles
Sparkling in the sun.
Slight ripples on the surface
Create an image of soft silk
Albeit possessing a few wrinkles.
Beneath lies a world of fragile wonder
Mysterious life forms yet to be found
This lake, Keeper of untold stories
Is an elegant enigma
To admire, daytime or night.
An attraction to see
With swans of divine white
Gliding like skaters
Along the lake.
Delicate
Nature
Kept.
