At the rooftop where she can almost see the entire town, Alyssa was stargazing when Zack joined her with a bucket of iced cold beer and a sushi plate at the side.
The house's structure has an attic, and Zack would love to pass through the small window to be on the roof each time he wanted to reflect on something.
After dinner, he invited her to his favorite space in the house to have a small talk with the bottle of beer.
Alyssa was amused as soon as she settled down and she watched the stars above the sky, while waiting for Zack for their drinks.
"Do you like the spot?" Zack asked him, right after he positioned himself beside her.
Alyssa excitedly nodded her head and smiled before she pinned her orbs in space.
The place was so quiet.
Her heart felt at ease.
Beside the view that she can enjoy, she can also take advantage of the serenity that his presence has brought to her system.
Zack looked at her with gladness in his heart.
It was nice to see her around once again. He thought.
He swallowed hard before breaking the silence between them.
"How long has it been Aly?" He asked.
Alyssa drank the 1st bottle of beer...bottoms up, before looking at him and utter.
"It's like seventeen or eighteen years ago, i guess." She replied with a moderate voice.
"I'm not really sure" she chuckled. "I'm like only 8 or 9 when you disappeared all of a sudden" her eyes rolled at him and Zack hissed out of admiration.
"Damn! You are as pretty as you are, always." His mind exclaimed right before her.
"I'm sorry if i haven't had the chance to say goodbye, back then. My father took me away, and i was just a kid who simply can't disobey the elders".
He explained as he narrowed down his gaze.
Alyssa gave his hand a gentle squeezed, and he felt the heat burned on his skin with the slightest touch.
He felt his stomach churned as his heart raced.
"I'm happy to know that you were the young boy i used to know" Aly said, and her hand remained over his, while they were discovering the universe.
Something came across his mind as she watched Aly mesmerized.
He whispered something to her ear that made her eyes grew big.
"Let's go to the valley tomorrow and remember our good old days together"
He drew away his face an inch, and utter under her breath "what can you say?"
And she exclaimed right before him "I like that, I'm so excited" and she couldn't be happier, she grabbed his neck with her arm and hugged him
"I also want to go to the lake and swim, pretty please!" she begged and her lips slightly touched the tip of his ear.
He felt the sensation ran through him.
Alyssa's gesture, made him anxious.
She was constantly looking at him with a twinkling eyes and a pouted lips, still her arms around his neck.
"We can stay late too to watch the fireflies at night" she suggested with a twitching lips, an inches away from his flushing face.
Her warm breath made her blood rush.
How can she be so careless? His mind was shouting.
His body felt strange over her childish demeanor.
Zack's lips parted out of shock when her soft smooth lips landed on his cheek without a warning.
She thanked him with a playful kiss.
And they were both stunned when they both realized the gravity of that kiss.
Alyssa pulled back and released her hands around his neck to apologize but Zack was to quick and tugged her close.
Their eyes met, and her heart throbbed like crazy that he could almost hear her heartbeat.
"I'm sorry, i just got carried ..." and a torrid kiss landed. He devoured her luscious kiss without hesitation. And Aly melted right away in his arms.
Her mind was protesting but her body was too weak to resist him. She couldn't go against his warm touch.
They were both panting as they pulled their tongues.
Her face was red and same with Zack, he blushed.
He rested his forehead on hers while they were both catching for their breath.
He whispered and she could smell his icy breath under her nostril.
"God I missed your lips!" And he gave her a hard peck and hugged her tightly.
She was speechless, nevertheless - her mind was condemning her.
Zack pulled away his body against her and stared at her beautiful hazel orbs for a while.
"I'm sorry for being rude"
"No, it wasn't your fault!" Alyssa exclaimed immediately to cut him off.
"It was my fault, I wasn't thinking" her head was down while clenching her fist.
Silence where between them for a brief moment but Zack broke that awkwardness right away.
"I think I need to send you home, so you can rest early for tomorrow's big day."
He explained and Alyssa was relieved.
"That's a great idea!" She stood up rushing out of anxiousness and her balance trembled before him that he quickly jolted his body and tugged her wrist to catch her.
She was shaking over the thought of falling on the roof, so Zack pulled her and she landed on his chest.
Right on time, he caught her once again.
"I got you! As always." He hissed
"Clumsy girl"
He teased her with his mischievous smile and her heart fluttered under his wings.
"You are so damn hot and sexy! Let's misbehave...can we? I want to grab you by the throat and kiss you deeply until I take your breath away. "
"Aly! Your phone is ringing." Lilian yelled in the room to get her sister's attention.
She was in the bathroom for half an hour now and she already had 2 missed calls when Lilian went inside her bedroom to borrow her lipstick.
"I'm coming in a minute!" Alyssa shouted.
Lilian came close to where her phone was, and she peaked on the screen and found out that it was Zack who was calling. She smirked before screaming at the top of her lungs.
"It's your date!"
And hurriedly, Alyssa came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her hair. She grabbed the phone on the bedside table and answered the call right away.
