Before I Ever Met You

Pissed Off

I start to calm down as I reach the cafeteria. I walk towards the vending machine to buy myself a sandwich and a soda. As I take out my wallet, my eyes sweep across the room, and I see Kyley. I groan. She really was the last person I wanted to see right now. I quickly put my money into the machine, trying to avoid speaking to her. The machine spits my dollar bill back out. What the fuck?! I growl and stuff it back into my wallet. I forgot we are in Switzerland. They don't accept dollar bills here. I walk back towards the exit, to go the front desk and change my money. But just as I'm about to make it out of there, I hear her voice. "Why hello there" I wince and pull my shoulders up to my ears to block out her cranky voice. "Listen, I really don't want to put up with your bull shit right now, so please just leave me alone". She snickers and I abruptly turn around, whipping her face with my pony tail. She looks startled and I smirk. "Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't see your face there". I sweetly smile at her, resting my hand on my hip. "Oh - my - god, can you watch it?" I raise my eyebrows, bend forward and say "Oh -my - god, I am so sorry. Did I mess up your face even more?" She rolls her eyes but I just leave her standing there, turn around, and leave the room.

She is so full of herself, I mean honestly why did she have to start talking to me? She doesn't even like me. As I walk down the hallways I stop in front of a mirror and apply some lipgloss. I didn't want people to start hating me right on the first week of school. I put the lipgloss back into my purse and fix my hair. Just as I do so, i start realising the silence, and thoughts of Lucas start coming back into my head. I quickly push him back out, and turn away from my reflection. I sob and make my way to the elevator. Then, I press number 4 and wait till the metal doors close.
