Chapter 5 Brit's point of view

Alex presses his lips to mine and I am about to deepen the kiss when my stupid brother has to put his hand in front of me.

" Brit, You know you are so stupid sometimes. Why would you kiss while your older and very protective  brother is in the car??"

" Ummm, sorry?"  Crap! I totally forgot about that.

"Think next time!" Brandon says. Brandon turns around and continues his conversation with Makenzie.

"Sorry,babe." Alex whispers in my ear. Alex and I sit there in silence the rest of the way to the mall. When we get out of the car Alex grabs my hand.  I can't believe Brandon did that! He seriously just messed everything up. I mean this is supposed to be my birthday date but whatever.

We finally arrive at mall to see the movie I've been waiting to for since last year. As were walking into the movie Makenzie asks me the question I've been waiting to answer."Hey Brit are you Gale or Peeta?"

Alex knows how , much I love fighting over who is better. He just rolls his eyes. Here we go." Gale," I say without even thinking.

I can already tell that she is Peeta just by the way she looks at me when I say it."WHAT?! WHY?! I MEAN PEETA IS SO MUCH HOTTER!!!!!" Makenzie exclaims very loudly, she causes people to look over at us. We don't really care this happens all the time to us.

"Okay 1.)Gale is so much HOTTER than Peeta. 2.)Who did look after Prim while  Katniss  was off kisssing some stupid baker? GALE!!! HE HAS LOVED HER FOREVER!!! I mean it is like Brandon over here loving you since 7th grade."

"BRITTANY ANNE! YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T TELL!!!" Brandon yells while turning a bright shade of red. This wasn't good!
