As you began to stir, your hands held onto a fabric you weren't familiar with. You played with it, trying to figure out what kind it was and where it might have came from. Your eyes began to open and you finally took notice of what it was. The "it" was a "who". And the who... was Dark.
He hadn't left you alone in bed all night and you knew for a fact he hadn't done anything except keep you safe.
"Well, good morning sleepyhead." You grinned as you rested your eyes again.
"Sleepyhead? When you're the one that's been asleep this whole time??" Dark grabbed your nose between his thumb and first knuckle playfully and gave you a good wake up call. Causing you to squirm and push his hand away from your face.
"Hey! How would you like it??" You reached up but just before you clasped on his hand wrapped around your wrist. "That's just not fair."
"Who told you I play fair?" You thought he would just release your hand except he didn't. He stared, saying nothing.
"Uhh, Dark? Can you let go?" He had gotten lost in your gaze for a second too long, suddenly his eyes went wide and quickly looked between his hand and your uneasy look.
"My bad." He quickly retracted his grip and tucked his hand by his side.
"No worries. I need to go get something to eat anyways. I'm gonna go see if Anti isn't too embarrassed about yesterday and if he knows any good places around." You hopped off of your bed and sifted through your closet that had only a few different outfits. Dark sat up.
"Him? Embarrassed? Do you know more than you're telling me?" He scoffed as he lifted an eyebrow in question.
"Thats true." You chuckled. "I've been really craving some breakfast food lately though." As you glanced at him he seemed off. "Are you okay? Did you want to go too?"
This caused him to shift uncomfortably. The thought of you being all alone with Anti rubbed him the wrong way.
"I suppose I can make some time."
"Great! I'll go get him while you get ready. Hopefully he'll say yes too!" He secretly hoped Anti would decline so he'd get some time with you. Of course though, once Anti heard you and Dark would be alone, he went through the same thought process and agreed to go too.

A small bell went off as you pushed open the door to the restaurant. All eyes were immediately on the three of you. Mainly you except you weren't sure as to why. You were starting to think this was a mistake. Someone could have easily cut the tension with a dull knife. Dark and Anti didn't want to look at each other at all. They just stood on both sides of you almost in guard mode.
"Well... let's get a table?" Anti finally looked over to you.
"Wherever you'd like, lass. You pick." He placed a hand on your shoulder and gave you a toothy smile causing Dark to glare at him.
You chose a seat by the window in the corner so not as many eyes would linger. The guys seemed to approve except for the fact that it was a booth. This meant that only one of them would be able to sit next to you. Anti made a move first to sit on your side but Dark grabbed the collar of his hoodie and pushed him into the other side and sat with him, leaving you alone on the other. Doing this meant that neither would be able to claim the seat. This was the best way to avoid a fight.
"Oh, great! Now I can see both of you guys perfectly." You smiled and they seemed to calm down. The waiter that came by the table seemed anxious as he laid down the menus. His tired eyes darted between Dark and Anti as if they were lions rearing to attack. His almond brown hair had been tied into a neat bun that was now barely holding together. He must have been on the nightshift and stayed over.
"My name is Marvin, I'll be your server this morning." He paused uncertainly. "So what uh what can I get you all?" He seemed as if he wanted to put on a show but was too nervous and spoke relatively quiet instead.
"(Drink) for me please!" You cheerfully spoke hoping to relieve some of the tension. It didn't really work.
     "Water."
"Get me a coffee." Both of them spoke curtly. Anti ran his hand through his hair annoyed as the server shrunk away with a quiet 'certainly'. You folded your arms and eyed the two like a parent scolding their child.
     "What?" Anti spoke first.
"Why's everyone so afraid? Do you two always act like this in public?" You gestured your hands in their direction.
"Well last time we went out... nothing good happened. We don't usually hang about in this..." he looked about. "Type of establishment. To put it lightly."
"So where do you normally hang out?" You were far too curious for your own good now. Anti and Dark exchanged a look. This piqued your interest even more.
"The Club Ele-" Anti started to answer but Dark cut him off.
"She doesn't need to know about that." He leered at him with a heavy presence.
"Why not? Friday nights are the best there!" Anti protested. You knew they were about to get into an argument again.
"Hey no worries! I don't need to know." You definitely needed to know. You could try asking again later. At least for now you could wait if it meant they would be calm. You switched the conversation. "Do you guys already know what you want?" You spoke as you flipped through the menu.

_____

All throughout breakfast it had been somewhat embarrassing. Every little thing that Anti did made Dark grumble and everything Dark did made Anti scoff. You just sighed.
"Maybe we should get going now." You didn't see this getting better and by now several of the other tables had asked for their check and takeout containers to leave early. A couple that had just got their food had even asked for the check before taking a single bite. Clearly no one wanted to be around these two and you could kind of see why. They were definitely unhinged. A few people walked by the window as you stared out. One person in particular caught your eye.
It was none other than Chaotic. His little alfalfa was actually kind of cute. Not like he was helpful at all the other day. He was probably just scared of Fearlix anyways. Or he was crazy. Thinking about it yeah, he was most likely just crazy. You searched around him hoping to not see Fearlix except your hopes were quickly dashed.
A pit formed in your stomach but all of your fear was quickly replaced with hate. The guys could see a quick change in emotion on your face as you looked away from the window. They were taken aback by your irked expression. You relaxed your face.
"Sorry. I didn't realize I was making a face. Like I said, we should get going." Both Anti and Dark nodded. With a single hand held up by Dark, Marvin came rushing over with check in hand.
"Yes sir, here you are, sir." He handed over the small thin paper. "This will be your copy and this is the house's." He set the two down and ran off back to the kitchen. The three of you stood and exited the diner. Now outside, you were able to breath again. Suddenly, an arm wrapped around your shoulders.
"(Y/n)! How's it goin'?" You froze as Fearlix was in your face. Almost as soon as it happened, you felt him release you but not by his doing. The two demons by your side had pinned him against the brick wall of the diner. "Hey! I'm not trying any funny business! I just wanted to talk!" He was still chuckling in between sentences, almost amused by Anti's and Dark's reactions. Seeing how quickly and easily he had been dealt with, you relaxed.
"Hey!" You weren't sure where you found the confidence but you were able to yell out. "I wanna go home."
The three demons were wide eyed. What? You thought as they just stared. Soon, Anti let go of Fear and reached out an arm to guide you away.
"Take care of the lad." Anti spoke over his shoulder.
"You don't have to tell me." Dark spoke back as he held firm to Fearlix.
"Let's go home then, lass. Business is taken care of." Suffice to say you were fairly confused. You'd definitely need to ask a few questions when you got the chance. You lined them up in your head as you and Anti walked back to the house. Now you just had to find the right timing.
