"Maam Bella... Maam gising na po."
I grunted when I felt an irritation because of our maid who's waking me up from my heavenly hours of sleep.
"Maam pinapababa na po kayo ni Congressman para sa pag-alis niyo patungong Circú. Nakahanda na po ang gamit niyo sa sala."
I almost forgot that I have a trip now. A freaking twenty day trip to see my Ayi, that's what I called my grandmother and I really missed her so much.
It was so sad how she leaves my Dad to keep her privacy after my Lolo died. She hated government, she hated it all because of threats, death threats and it makes her so difficult to live, she says. Their relationship really don't end up good but she married my Lolo for my Dad's sake but she never loves him because he is ruthless and a two way masked man. He was a former Congressman but now my Dad had taken over of those.I drag the tip of my hoddie jacket to my waist. I am done showering and I was now ready to go with my cargo pants and converse shoes. I closed the door and head down to our spiral-grand staircase.
I sit down to my usual seat and start putting foods in my plate.
"Nauna na kami, ang tagal mo at pupunta pa kami sa opisina." I shrugged as I heard my Dad's usual lines every morning. They woke me up early and when I go out all of them were gone for their businesses in lives.
"Ayos lang, Dad." I answered politely and start eating.
"Mag-iingat ka doon anak, send my regards to your Lola." My mouth were full so I refused to answer her.
"Take care of yourself Bella. There are no guards that would stick to you so harm is everywhere. Please go safely and comeback safely." Dad spoke as worry was all drawn in his face. My life has been so terrible for the threats at kahit saan ako magpunta ay may guard na nakusunod saakin. I know how to do taekwondo, some self defense, combat, use gun and all but my Dad never allowed me to make a move as long as the guard was there to save me. All of my life, it's my first time to travel without those shits, just me and I can't help but to be excited on it.
"Sorry sissy, I can't go with you now. I had to go back in Paris." My sister said.
"Yah yah." I nodded nonchalantly. I tried to eat faster as the time was ticking, baka maiwan pa ako ng sasakyan ko patungo roon.
"Don't forget what you've learn from me, Bella." Si Daddy. I nodded and watch as my maid were getting all of my things to bring to our hilux para ihatid ang sa station ng sasakyan ko patungo roon.
"I can finally use it, Dad. Oh, only if anything bad happens." I laughed at my last sentence. His face grinned at me and was sending me a warning. My mom was even sharpening his eye on me.
"Nakahanda na ang sasakyan, Congressman." one of our driver appeared so I forgot to defend my joke on them.
"Have a safe trip, sis." My ate said and reached me for a hug. She tapped my back and step behind.
"We'll go ahead hija." Dad said. I both hugged them and kissed them on their cheeks as they go for their duties and I entered the car then we go on the opposite road.
We reach the station and I only see one big bus. It wasn't like a scary town or something but it was like a farm, a place that were far-away from modern world. A one like exists in nineties, the one is they don't have to be in government's foots, they didn't exists, they where hidden and only few knows about Circú. Gladly, my Dad keeps it on his self and never uttered any word about Circú even though he is a public servant.
I bring my duffel bag with me when I entered the bus. It was already occupied in the front so I had to walked where in the back seat most were empty. In a two-seat facing each other there were tables in between. I put the bag in the other part of my chair. The bus can accommodate only six person and I am assuming that the second floor of this bus contains the bedroom. It was so awesome and everything are almost made of woods, like living in past-lives. I smiled at my own thought.
I grabbed my phone to take some pictures when I saw the big card that was stick on a wall that their were no taking of pictures, I sighed and put my phone back on my pocket. I reach their Do's and Don't's, not bad it was laminated. Tinignan ko rin ang menu ng pagkain nila, the good thing is they are not completely left behind, their foods where all great kahit wala pa akong natikman and I also see that they had professional chef in their kitchen. That explains why the cost of riding in this bus is so expensive. You travel like you went for a vacation, to unwind and you can really live your life here, it was almost like a limousine.
A uniformed man appeared. He was about to say something when a guy crossed in his front heading on the last seat. I followed him until he sits on the area near on me. He ruffled his hair and put his huge duffel bag beside him. He roamed his whole body and stops on his black shirt that was perfectly stick in his masculine body.
The man a while ago cleared his throat and I tilted my head to listen on him.
"Suit yourself, we are now on our way to Circú. Enjoy and have a good day." He smiled and start going back on his sit, beside the drivers sit. The bus starts moving and I pursed my lips for the amazing landscapes I am witnessing outside. All of my life I was only seeing huge buildings and going on our private resort and beaches with a guards tailing on me.
