Lilac P.O.V
What?
"Landon's... here?" I ask in confusion. My heart flutters when Lydia gives a stiff nod; the smile leaves my face when she pushes me towards the big, metal door.
"Landon may be here, but you won't make it out alive." Lydia says maliciously.
I stumble along with Lydia as I wrap my arms around my belly. "What do you mea-"
My sentence is cut off when she pushes me down the rest of the stairs. There wasn't many stairs to fall down, so it wasn't hard for me to break my fall with my arms.
I let out a muffled scream at the pain that radiated through my arms from the fall. Looking back, I see Lydia slowly descending the stairs.
I try to scramble to my feet before she gets to me, but it was useless. My legs were weak from all the cuts.
"You're not getting away that easy, B*tch." Lydia grips my hair is her hand, forcing me to stand up. She pulls me down a hall, all while I stumble behind her, letting out tiny squeaks of pain.
Finally, Lydia throws me on the ground again. I break the fall with my leg this time, which easily reopens one of my wounds.
Blood slowly started to flow out of the wound onto the wooden floor. I run a hand over the side of my belly.
"You traveled all this way for this?" Lydia sneers. "What do you see in this pathetic she-wolf?"
A powerful growl met my ears, confirming that Landon is here. I smile at the ground weakly before slowly looking up.
My eyes scan over two pairs of combat boots before landing on Landon and Mason. Both of their eyes meet mine, worry shining in them clearly.
"I see more in her than I ever saw in you." Landon says. I slowly pull myself up, giving both men a clear view of my lacerations.
Landon makes a move towards Lydia with his claws extended. His golden eyes were locked on his prey.
Lydia
"What the hell did you do to my mate?" Landon growls. Lydia quickly pulls the gun out before pointing it at my head.
Lydia yanks my head up by my hair again. "Don't come any closer, or I'll shoot her in the head."
I let out a sob as I wrap my arms around my stomach again. I try to focus on my leg, considering that my leg took the attention away from my burning scalp.
'We've lost too much blood. With the rate out leg is bleeding, we won't live to see another sunrise.'
I already knew that, but I try to believe that I won't die, that Landon will save me.
"What are you doing, Lydia? Why are you hurting Lilac?" Landon asks with true confusion.
Lydia lets out a scoff, she then jerks my head to the side to reveal my mark. I let out an uncomfortable grunt, making Landon's eyes lighten.
"You marked her, Landon! Your only child and you marked her!" Lydia yells in anguish. Mason lets out a stiff sigh, malice burning in his eyes.
Landon takes another step towards Lydia with his hands held up. Lydia growls before shoving the gun into my head, instantly giving me a headache.
I let out a whimper before shaking my head frantically at Landon. Lydia smirks.
"Listen to Lilac, Landon." Lydia then raises the gun and points it at Mason. "Because I will shoot either one of them. Maybe both."
Before I know what's happening, Landon's jumping at Lydia, his body shifting into wolf form in midair. Just as that happens, a gun fires off, followed by a groan from Mason.
I gasp as Landon tackles Lydia to the ground. He growls at her, as if to tell her to back down, yet he doesn't hurt her.
I smile at him even though he's not looking at me. I try to move towards Mason but I'm took weak, I could feel the life slowly leaving my body.
"Come on, Lilac. Don't give up now." I mutter to myself. I slowly - and I mean slowly - start to pull myself towards Mason.
Blood gushing out of his chest where he had been shot. I let out a sob as I place my hands over the wound, hoping I could stop the bleeding, but all I did was paint my hands a dark red.
"Mason..." I let tears drop from my eyes. Mason grips my hand so he can sit up.
"I'm alright, Lilac. Sorcerers are basically invincible, remember?"
I give a weak laugh as I wipe my tears away. "Right, I almost forgot." I say through my tears.
Mason runs his hands over my arms. "What the hell did she do to you?"
"It's a long-"
I'm cut off by a bark from Landon. I didn't have time to turn around and see what was happening, because the next thing I know, a bullet is striking me in the leg.
I let out a out a scream as pain consumes me. My leg felt like it had amputated.
This is it... I'm done for
I look down at the bullet hole as I feel Mason's arms wrap around me.
"F*ck, Lilac! Come on, stay with me." Mason whispers in my ear.
I desperately wanted to stay conscious, stay alive for my children, but I knew that would be a miracle from the moon goddess.
Black dots invaded my vision as my body starts to lose feeling. From a distance, I could hear Lydia's pained screams as Landon tore her apart limb by limb, taking his sweet time in killing her.
'Don't fight it anymore, Lilac. We have fought enough, just let go.' I hear my wolf's sad murmur in the back of my head.
I didn't think I would listen to her, but I soon found myself drifting into the sweet release of death.

Short, I know! And I'm sorry for that!
I bet you hate me, so I'm going to stop typing now.
