When Jungkook woke up the next morning, the first thing he thought of was Dae-hyuns friend. Ever since they had first bumped into each other, he had sort of kept tabs on him. Well,it was hard not to since the boy always seemed to be in the hallway at the same time as him. Sometimes, Jungkook would catch himself staring at the boy eating lunch with his friends outside in the courtyard while Jungkook ate alone in one of the empty classrooms. He would sit by the window and watch as Taehyung laughed with the other guys, and would half wish he could just walk out there and introduce himself. But how weird would that be? He would need a solid excuse to just go out there and talk to Taehyung, and it would have to be something better than him just needing friends at a new school.

Often he would grow curious too, about Dae- hyun and Taehyungs friendship. If they were such good friends, then why did he never see Taehyung over at the house? He was pleased to discover last night that that had changed. Seeing Taehyung in the flesh, having him so close and real, it made Jungkooks head spin. He had met him once before, but it was the first day of class, and Jungkook was nearly late. He didn't have enough time to say anything to him, and he beat himself up about that for nearly a whole week since. Why hadn't he gone to find him afterwards? Apologised or something?

Before he fell asleep, he kept thinking about the way Taehyung looked at him with those eyes. He was so fucking handsome, Jungkook even now felt a stirring in him he couldn't control just thinking about him. He realised then, that the unfortunate truth was he had feelings for this boy, ones that he couldn't fight. Was it possible Taehyung could be like him? He had never seen the boy with a girl, but that didnt mean anything. Usually, Jungkook could tell pretty fast, but with Taehyung it was harder. Taehyung had this way of hiding what he was thinking, where as Jungkook was made of glass. Jungkook felt himself get excited at the thought of Taehyung wanting him the way he wanted Taehyung.

He sat up suddenly, running his fingers through his hair. Jungkook. Control your thoughts. He said to himself, realising he made himself a little too excited.

There was a knock on the door, and he quickly covered himself with the duvet.

"Yes?" He called, voice slightly strained.

"It's aunti Min-su. Can I come in?" His aunt said from outside the door.

  "Sure. . ."

She opened the door. "So, there is breakfast on the table. Dae-hyun will have his dads car, so he can drive you both to school this morning. Now that you live closer to the school, you won't have to be late for school anymore, okay? We have to make sure you get to school on time from now on to get your attendance score up, that's really important if you want to get into a good university." She said, going off into a little rant.

Jungkook sat up as best he could. "Okay, sounds good. Thank you, auntie." He replied, flashing a winning smile.

She smiled back. "You really are so adorable. Both you and Dae-hyun, my cute little guys." She said, her voice fond.

He cringed. He was nearly eighteen and was being called adorable. Great. He silently hoped that Taehyung didn't find him adorable.

His aunt tapped the side of the door. "Okay, well I am off for work now. Have a good day, nephew. There will be food in the fridge when you get home." She said before closing the door. Relieved, Jungkook sighed loudly and fell back into his pillows.  Ugh.

After he got into his uniform, he tried to style his hair as best he could. It had been getting longer, and he wasn't sure what to do with it. Slick it back? Fluff it up? He decided on slightly slicked back, letting a few strands fall into his face. There, he thought, who's adorable now? He made his way into the kitchen where there was fresh dumplings on the counter, along with juice and coffee, and he grabbed himself some of everything before sitting down at the table. Dae-hyun was also at the table, scrolling aimlessly on his phone. He looked up at his cousin.
