'Ollo!' Said a cheerful, friendly voice.

'What?' The girl rubbed her eyes. A boy sitting next to her smiled. 'I Jacques, you call me Jeremiah, no? How boutza you?'

The girl stared at him. 'I don't know you,' she answered. 'Nein, neon, you don't know me, you dono anybody!' He said, still smiling. Okayyyyyy, she thought. Might as well get it over with. She slapped the boy and tried to knee him in the groin successfully.

He howled in pain and hobbled off.

A door opened and another guy stepped through, this one taller and muscled, his shirt hiding perfect abs, biceps thick as barrels. He was holding a gun. 'Move it, girl.' He commanded.

She meekly stood and followed his lead. He led her to a maze of corridors and stairs and navigated like he'd been here for seventy years. 'I have been here for seventy years,' he said.

She winced. Ouch.

'But we do not get old. Seventy years is like one year back on earth. Earth. The most dangerous world where stupid, ferocious humans feast on animals and eat their meat. Ending lives for their pleasure. Stupid.' He shook his head and shuddered. 'So much evil,' he whispered.

'Right. Do I know you?'

He stopped walking. 'No,' he said uncertainly. He turned around and held out his hand. 'Commander Montogmary. Just call me Mont.'

'Right.' She didn't take it.

He led her to the dining hall. Long rows of tables, caramel-colored, were placed with stone chairs in a caramel colored room made of stone. Mont shoved her to the counter and told her she cull take anything she wanted, the buffet was open 24/7 and free.

She picked out some rose apples and apples. Chocolate. And there was a make-your-own-food counter. She went over and piled up shredded ice on a bowl, poured pink syrup on the ice and put in condensed milk with red beans. She didn't know what beans they were, but it tasted awesome. Better than the three-scoop Baskin Robins she'd had, made by a guy named Robin who liked basking in the sun. Typical.

She sat on a long table by herself and ate.

Soon, though, one guard led her away after she'd finished her meal and took her to a room. She couldn't shake the feeling that the room would change her fate.

Maybe that's because it kills you, she thought.
