Sooga was in the first Yiga settlement in Tabantha, he had taken the time to unfreeze the doors, to analyze the whole place and surroundings.
He found more notes that pointed to the obvious experimentation of dark magic in members of the Yiga clan, trapped by a huge feeling of helplessness, the man mourned the loss and blamed his ineptitude which led to the cruel end that those members lived.
Yes, some members perished under the hands of the ones called "Champions", but those deaths were even more respectful than having treated them like rats.
He was more than determined to get rid of Astor first, then y/n and finally the champions, Sooga wanted his revenge, he glared at the lightless sanctuary in the cave, surrounded by so many artifacts.
-This place should never have existed in the first place- he muttered as clasping his hands, the earth began to shake and symbols of the reverse sheikah eye appeared on the various walls of the place, the snow buried everything that ever existed of that refuge.
Now the man was in the snow, seeing what he had done -I must inform Master Kohga of this- he turned around -Sebit! Merv! - the master yelled, the two Yiga who once helped y/n presented themselves in front of him, bowing before their leader -What's the next move Mr. Sooga? - Merv asked.
Sooga began to walk -I want you to watch your old partner well, we will use the fierce deity against the king, we will find a way- he whispered -I heard that the formal ceremony to name him/her/them as a bodyguard will begin in a week- Sebit, the youngest in the Yiga ranks, dared to say.
-Then you will enter the castle from now on, you will inform me of every move you make, everything, if they discover you, then do whatever is necessary to maintain your anonymity other than kill him/her/them - ordered their superior, the two colleagues disappeared using the a Demise's amber, Sooga left, keeping the new notes and clues in his pouch to find the hidden room.
Meanwhile, both Isha and Nill were experiencing problems since their relationship had come to light, the rito were a species of little population, they had all expected that at least one of the generals would marry another rito, someone of their kind, to "perpetuate the best"
Only a few openly supported their relationship, even though Nill had insisted on leaving, the Hylian knew how important the town was to him, yet being strong for both left Isha exhausted.
She was embroidering details on her wedding dress sitting on a wooden bench near the principal landing, a strong draft made her hold the garment before it flew off.
After that, someone threw a pouch in front of her with several empty jars -You know, tonic potions, stealthy ones, the usual- Isha let out a sigh and looked at the newcomer -Hello you too Revali- she greeted.
The rito crossed his wings -Yeah, well, when do you think you will have them ready? - He asked, the woman then leaned over to take and check the pouch -2, 8 ... 10, hmm ... I would have them by sunset If I focus on that- she began to say -By the way in the wedding-
Revali, on the other hand, looked at the feathers that hung from Isha's braid made with love, ignored what she said later, lost in the memory of the dream he had.
It had felt so real and it had awakened several feelings in him that he didn't know -as apparently I exhausted you with what I said, it would be better to go home- said the woman as she took that pouch along with the dress to start walking towards Nill's house .
No rito that passed Isha's side dared to say something, not in front of the champion, General Revali had defended the couple by saying that if they dared offend them, he would tear down their houses with the fury of the winds or "Revali's Gale" That's what he had called his ability.
After seeing her enter, the feathered looked at Kaneli's house; he needed to resolve another matter.
-Come in boy, come - invited the patriarch of the town, Revali accepted and went to sit on a small circular mat in front of the old rito's rocking chair -Patriarch, I would like to ask for your advice- he went straight to the point.
That didn't seem to bother Kaneli who laughed a little, as if he was used to his way of being -Tell me, how can I help you Revali-
The general looked around, trying to muster up enough courage to admit that it was a social matter, the great Revali? Talking about trying to make amends with someone? But if he wanted to have his own allies to face the calamity alone, he needed that.
-There is someone I would like to be my ally, but, we ha- the rito cleared his throat a bit -had disagreements-
-Now what did you do to y/n, Revali? - asked the patriarch
The young warrior's feathers were ruffled - I never mentioned him/her/them! Besides, why do you assume I did something to that sheikah?- He asked.
A silent look invaded the air before Kaneli simply said -We both know you're not the kindest towards outsiders- Revali snorted as he rolled his eyes. - Okay, how can I turn him/her/them into an ally for battle? -
-First you must apologize-
-I plan to do it by being face to face, but, to heal that tension between us to be able to collaborate together through casual letters could help- replied the youngest, Kaneli carried a wing under his beak -Send him a feather next to your first letter, like a symbol that you are willing to give your trust towards him/her/them, I'm afraid that the content will be something only between you and y/n-
After leaving the patriarch's house, Revali was meditative, he could see Nill from the corner of his eye entering his house with Isha who showed him the dress, extremely excited.
He had gone from considering the hylian woman as a threat to someone "socially acceptable" in a matter of months, the couple despite receiving bad comments behind their back also had love from friends, but most importantly: Neither of them faltered In the decision to unite their lives, he could see how the black-feathered rito carried the future bride to perform various pirouettes around the small space.
After seeing them, Revali took flight and arrived at the cabin near the flight range, he walked towards the trunk where he had previously kept Eldin's statue with such contempt, now there was the statue, the luminous stone in the process of sculpting, at the end a Blue Nightshade... withered but well preserved.
The flower that y/n had given him in a gesture of sarcasm.
He looked at the objects, how would he apologize? What would he say when finally seeing again? How would he act? Maybe if ... He asked Urbosa for advice, no, the less people knew about his little dispute with Him/Her/Them, the better.
Revali took a pile of papers, pen, ink from inside the trunk to start writing on a small desk at the far left of the circular hut.
But he heard someone enter -What do you want? I'm busy- the rito just said without looking up, he heard the newcomer clear his throat to try to calm himself down and spread a white envelope with the royal symbol in his viewing area -The royal family invites you to a private ceremony, great Revali- it was a Rito messenger that came from the castle itself.
