Hate

My head fucking hurts. I got the pain reliever that they prescribed and drank it. What time is it? 11:35am. I have to check work... but the doctor said to relax. I messaged Jenny and Miyaka, telling them I'll be taking the day off. I sent them any updates I got from JVA and other information. A minute later, someone was knocking on my door. I checked the peephole and it was Jenny and Miyaka. I opened the door and smiled.

"Waa! What happened?!" Jenny asked.

I let them enter my room and I was bombarded with so many questions.

"I tripped last night and I had to get some stitches" I told them.

"That must have hurt.."

"Take the day off, we'll handle everything today"

"Yes! We won't let you down!"

I smiled at both of them and thanked them. I still plan on watching the game.. I have not missed one of his game and I'm not about to start now.

I wore a hoodie so I can hide the bandage on my head. When the team left, I called a cab to take me to the stadium. I didn't have a ticket.. but I did use my badge to get in. I honestly don't know where to sit or stand for the game... I saw Jenny and Miyaka coming out, the team should be just behind them.

"Ano, Aya?" Jenny called, recognizing me immediately even with a mask and hoodie.

"hehe.. hi" I said sheepishly.

"You're supposed to be relaxing.. even Ishikawa-san mentioned it earlier when the team asked where you were" Jenny said.

"Well.. I haven't missed a single match that Ran played in so..." I tried to explain.

Both of them shook their head in disappointment.

"I'll go ahead and find somewhere to sit, Yuki-senpai would kill me if he sees me" I told them.

"A little too late for that" Miyaka said, looking to her left.

I looked at to where she was looking at and lo and behold.. Yuki-senpai looking disappointed. He quickly walked towards us, his head shaking.

"I told you to take the day off" he said.

"Yeah, I'm not working.. I'm just here to watch" 

"Watch in bed, you're going back to the hotel"

"Senpai.."

"Aya.."

"Ano... Ishikawa-san, we'll take care of her" Miyaka butted in.

"I'll be fine, I'll go back if I feel off or weird" I promised him.

"Fine"

I just smiled. I then hear the team chitchatting, on their way to the court. Time to go hide now.

I found am empty seat just a few rows up from the side lines. I sat there kept my hoodie up. The team is doing their warm ups and I took a picture of Ran, posting it online, 'he looks good black.' Ran in black is just another level hotness, I sound like some crazy fan...

Set 1...

Australia scored the first point of the match. Ran had a chance from mid back, but Australia managed to dig it but the ball went back to our side.. free ball. Yamamoto-san received the ball, Fujii-san setting up for senpai and... right down the line! 2-2.

Miyaura-san followed up, scoring through from an Australian block, ball going out of bounds. Lee-san hit an ace right after, 4-3.

I got notifications from Instagram, people commenting on the instastory I posted earlier. People are saying that he looks better in white, but I beg to differ.
