Author: HEYO!!! it's the author of Izuku of Mars and Yoshitsune! So, this idea kinda just popped into my head this morning while I was idly eating corn pops!
So! Izuku gives up all hope of becoming a hero and gets fixated on Stage Magic! So, when he learned he was quirkless, he came across videos of magic performances online. The magician he admired the most was someone called Zatanna (yes the one and only Zatanna from DC.)
However, this time there won't be any twins (cause that gets used too many times for my liking). Bakugou, Todoroki and Izumi don't pick on Izuku as much due to him not even wanting to be a hero. They still do the usual bullying however with the name calling and shit.
Without making you all any longer! Here's Izuku the Magician!
_______________
Izuku was practically shaking in excitement as he looked at the screen on his computer at home. It showed that he had won a ticket and backstage pass to meet Zatanna! He jumped up from his desk chair and did a little celebratory dance, almost knocking over his lamp in the process.
Izuku: Yes! I finally get to go to a real live show! Ok Izuku, calm down... focus on homework first before anything else.
Izuku mumbled to himself with a smiled plastered on his face. He got back in his desk chair and began his homework, putting headphones in and listening to some music whilst breezing through the assignments.
However, down the hall, a girl heard her brother's cries of joy. She frowned and bit her lip, looking at the wall of her room. This was Izumi Yagi, Izuku's younger sister and discarded person. She wiped tears from her eyes as she remembered what she had done to Izuku growing up.
*Flashback*
Izuku was sitting at his desk in elementary school, his eyes shining happily as he was learning coin tricks, showing a couple kids the classic 'Disappearing Coin' trick.
Kid: Whoa! How did you do that Yagi!?
Izuku: Hehe it's a magic trick!
Kid 2: Huh? Magic is real?
Izuku: Mhmm! If you want it to be!
Kid 3: Awesome!
Nearby, Izumi and Katsuki Bakugou all watched Izuku happily talking with the other kids. Izumi hated seeing Izuku all happy with other kids. When they were younger, Izumi and Bakugou bullied Izuku due to his quirkless nature and told him he could never be a hero. After a couple years of bullying, Izuku stopped talking to her completely and to Bakugou.
Not taking it anymore, she stomped over to Izuku and the others kids.
Izumi: What's so great about 'magic' anyways!? It isn't even real and not as cool as quirks! And Deku here isn't even that impressive.
Izuku slowly lost his smile at the insults. The kids he got to know as friends saw this and frowned before looking at Izumi angrily.
Kid 1: You're so mean Yagi! Why are you always bullying Zuzu!?
Kid 2: Yeah!? Aren't you his sister!?
Kid 3: Yeah! And Bakugou and you are just bullies! So what about your quirks!?
Katsuki: HAH!? What you say you extra!?
Kid 1: You guys just started bullying Izuku for no reason! You guys used to be friends!
Izuku: She isn't my sister.
Izuku said and everyone went quiet. Izumi's eyes widened at how empty he sounded. Not his sister...?
Izuku: And Bakugou isn't my friend. They're nothing but bullies and that's all they ever will be! They're like Villains!
Kid 2: You're right! Good people don't bully others or use their quirks on them!
Izumi and Bakugou stared in shock as the others kids in the class agreed to Izuku's words. The kind green haired boy looked at the two antagonists and glared.
Izuku: You will NEVER be my sister ever again! Who wants a bully as a sister anyway!? I HATE you!
Izumi felt tears going down her face at how honest Izuku's words were. He hated her? He hates them.
When they got home that day, Izumi tried to talk to Izuku but he ignored her and went to his room, locking the door behind him so she couldn't get in.
That was the day Izuku disowned Izumi as his sister and ever since, she was nothing but a stranger to him.
*flashback end*
Back with Izuku, he was now lying in bed, his head swimming with excited thoughts of going to see a live magic show in just a couple days. He turns his lamp off and closes his eyes, ready to get some sleep.
________________The following day, we find Izuku happily putting on a jacket before heading to the front door to put his boots on. He ignored everything around him, exactly what he's been doing for years.
Inko: I-Izuku, where are you going? It's almost dark out.
Izuku: Magic show.
Izuku replied in a curt tone as he still had a smile of excitement on his face.
Toshi: Why not take Izumi with you? You two don't ever spend time together-
Izuku: I couldn't care less about that bully. Besides, it's ticket admission only.
Izuku left swiftly after that, ignoring the hurt expressions on everyone's face. They had found out about Izumi's involvement in bullying Izuku when they were younger and told their daughter to stop. However, when they tried to talk to Izuku about it, they were shocked to find that he hated them as well. Izuku had just pointed to family portraits and photos, wordlessly showing that he was in none of them. He then told them one thing that shattered their hearts.
Izuku: If you don't want me in your lives. I don't want you in mine.
They've tried making it up to Izuku, for the years of neglect and pain they put him through but he had completely disregarded them as any sort of family after the years he suffered. His school life wasn't terrible as many kids at least liked Izuku performing magic since no one else around them could, making him unique despite his quirkless status.
Back with Izuku, we see him standing in a large auditorium. The place was packed full of fans, all excitedly murmuring to one another before the lights dimmed, Izuku's viridian eyes sparkling as the show was about to start.
?: Ladies and Gentlemen! I graciously welcome you to my show! But first, I need some help!
The voice of a woman rang around the auditorium, the audience looking a bit lost before Izuku felt something land on his head, light pushing down his curly hair. He picked it up off his head and looked at it. It was a top hat?
?: Ahah! There's my hat! Now, if you would be a dear and just place it on the stage for me.
Izuku numbingly nods and got up, some children in the crowd giggling happily as Izuku went up to the stage and placed the top hat gently down.
?: Thank you very much! Now, time to see my lovely audience face to face!
Izuku didn't have time to go back to his seat as the top hat began to shake, it lifted off the ground slightly as the entire room stared in abject shock as heeled feet came out.
