New Start, Pt. 1

"Ready for this?" I asked Lucy as we got to school. "Of course, we'll rule this place." She said pulling us into the large building.

We picked up our schedules from the check in table. "We have most of them together." Lucy said excited. "This is going to be a good year, I can feel it."

 Suddenly I was picked up and spun in a circle. I grinned when I saw Joey. "J," I squealed. "Put me down."

"Hey gorgeous." He said kissing my cheek. I giggled, leaning back against him. "Know where your classes are?" He asked me, looking over my shoulder to see my schedule.

"Still have to find my homeroom." I told him. Before he could respond we saw Snake and Wheels. 

I turned in his arms to face him. I leaned in and kissed him. "Go hang with them, I'll see you later." I said when I pulled away. "Love you." He gave me a small kiss. "Love you too."

"Aren't you two so cute." Lucy teased. I rolled my eyes but laughed. "Shut up." I shoved her shoulder before we started looking for our classes.

"Let's find out where we are." LD said. We met up with the other girls. "Cluth is here." Lucy said with a frown. I felt bad that I was still friends with him.

"How was camp?" I asked the twins, changing the subject. "Fabulous. I loved being a counselor." Heather told us.

Erica stayed quiet though. "We made almost 500 dollars each." Heather grinned.

"Want to invest in a movie?" Lucy asked her. "My dad bought me a camcorder." She explained. "Thats cool."

Lucy nodded at me. "I'm making a movie, the scripts almost finished." She smiled. "I'm serious." She said at the other girls looks.

"Look out Steven Spielberg." I said in a teasing voice, earning some laughs.

"Erica had a romance." Heather told us. "Do tell." LD smirked at the girl. "His name was Jason and he was a counselor too." Erica said shortly.

"And he was gorgeous." heather cut in. "Way to go." Lucy told the girl. "I was so jealous."

I noticed Erica didn't seem to happy about the subject. "He turned out to be a jerk. I'm gonna go find my class."

"What happened?" I asked Heather. "They broke up before we left." She shrugged.

"It still sounds kind of romantic." Lucy said. "Yeah I wouldn't mind having a boyfriend." LD added on. I chuckled at the girls.

Heather pulled us to the side of the hallway. "This is a major secret, you can't tell anyone." She whispered. "What is it?" I asked her. "She's not a virgin anymore."

"Are you serious?" Lucy asked. I felt bad gossiping about it, she seemed upset. "She'd only known him two months."

"Hey guys." I said, running up and kissing Joey's cheek. "Hey Jules." Snake and Wheels both answered. 

"Was that Miss Avery?" I asked, glancing back at the library. "Yep." Snake told me. "At least it isn't Raditch." Joey said. "You are haunted by that guy."

I chuckled. "So, what's your plan?" Wheels asked Joey. "First we need a new name." He told the boys. "I liked it."

"But this is high school. If we're going to go all the way..." Joey trailed off when someone stopped in front of us. "So we meet again." The boy said.

I didn't recognize him at all. I felt Joey's arm tense in my hands. "Dwayne." He said lowly.

"I've got a bone to pick with you. This used to be a real high school, now it's full of little kids. Because you burned down yours." Dwayne complained.

I glared at him. "We didn't burn it down." He sent me a look. "You were there. So, we'll have to initiate you real good."

"Leave him alone." I snapped at the boy. "Oh is she your little girlfriend?" Dwayne laughed. "She's to pretty for you." He smirked.

"Shut your mouth." Joey snapped. "Don't worry, I won't touch your girl." Swayne chuckled. "But I can't promise she won't."

My eyes landed on a girl standing behind him with a big smirk. "Hey princess." She winked at me.

I found out that Dwayne was some guy who was messing with Joey a few years ago, but it was when I was dealing with my stuff so I never knew.

"Do you know who Dwayne is?" I asked Clutch when we sat at a table for lunch. "Yeah, guys a total asshole." He said biting his sandwich.

I groaned. "Why, he messing with you?" He asked protectively. "Not him, this girl that was with him."

"Oh that's Jennifer, she's mean." He told me. "Look, I can try to make them leave you alone." 

"What'd you do to piss them off?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. "Not me, he has some thing against Joey from like two years ago." I explained.

He chuckled. "Of course, Joey." I smacked his arm. "Shut up, leave him alone."

"Hey, I get you love the kids or whatever. But you gotta admit that he always is getting you guys into shit."

I shook my head with a smile. "Okay, that's true. But I always have you to get me out." He rolled his eyes. "Like I have a choice."

"Exactly." I heard girls screaming. "What is that?" Clutch snorted pointing over. "Some freshman tried sit out here."

My eyes went wide when I saw Kathleen. She was tied to a pole, her bra and underwear on the outside of her clothes. "Oh my god." I burst into laughter

"Have they messed with you at all?" Joey asked me as we were walking to my house after school. 

"Nope, Clutch said he'd try to talk them." I told him. "But I know they got Snake and Wheels, so that means your next." I teased.

He rolled his eyes. "It's such bull. He's holding a grudge over something I didn't even do."

"Whatever they do can't be that bad." I assured him. "You didn't see what they did to them." He whined. "J, cut it with the whining."

"They're gonna kill me Jules, you don't get it." He nearly chrieked. I sighed. "You want me to take your mind off of it?" I asked, nodding to my house.

His eyes went wide. "Is your mom gone?" I giggled. "She's always gone." He grinned. "But you have to promise to stop talking about Dwayne." I said, holding up a hand.

He nodded quickly. " I can definitely do that." He said pulling me towards the house. I chuckled following behind the excited boy.
