You trained with your long-lost father. You thought Nejire worked you hard, you were in for something else.

You hold your knees, barely able to stand, drenched in your own sweat, gasping for air, the next breath, a salvation.

Suneater: Come on. I doubt a user of your mother's quirk would have this little stamina.

Y/N: Geez.

Suneater: You have a lot to improve on, how is she number six when I'm number twelve? Kinda wishing I did know you existed. You'd be better.

He was far from the nervous wreck your mother remembered.

You drop to the floor as he sighs.

Suneater: We'll take a five minute break. After that, we'll make what you got from me as much a quirk as your mother's.

You nod.

You spray the entire water bottle on your face. It feels great, like a waterfall in a forest. Nothing huge, a small, refreshing one.

You felt ready for anything he was going to throw at you.

Suneater: Right then. Here, eat this.

He tosses you some jelly in a cup. You catch, opening the packet.

He stares, motioning his arms in a circular pattern. 'I don't have all day.'

You open the packet and eat the jelly in one gulp.

Suneater: Right. You know how to activate it?

Y/N: Sort of.

You turn your hand to jelly, then back again.

Suneater: How quick?

He dashed towards you, a punch ready, you activated Manifest onto your chest. He hits the soft substance.

Hmm. The shock absorption is crazy. Like it didn't land.

He throws another punch, you dodge the shot at your head. He throws a roundhouse kick while still in the air, you turn your ribs to jelly, absorbing the shock.

He stops.

Suneater: Good. You have good reactions and a good handle on the quirk. You're impossible to take off-guard.

Y/N: Got Deku to thank for that.

Suneater: Right. Y/N. Uh. Wait, can I call you that?

Y/N: Of course. I heard Mum got pissed, so you gotta call her Hado now. Fair, it really was hard for her. But yeah, I'm Y/N to you.

Suneater: If she'd just told me. Shit. I can't think about this, we're training.

Rocketti agency

Pro hero Rocketti fires hundreds of her horn projectiles at Hoshiko. She dodged them with effortless efficiency.

She glitches behind Rocketti and taps her back.

Rocketti: Good. Your quirk is one of your greatest assets, especially for you.

Hoshiko: Yeah. Thanks.

Rocketti: All good. You've done well, I was glad to have offered to you.

Hoshiko: Yeah. I didn't get a lot of offers.

Rocketti: Yeah. Most of the pros today umm, you see they fought-

Hoshiko: My Dad. I know.

She scowls with grimace, away from the pro training her.

Rocketti: Yeah. Thought so. Most people heard the name and disregarded you, I don't think that's fair. I'm glad I got you.

Hoshiko: I'm glad I chose you.

She opens her arms, Hoshiko accepts the hug.

Rocketti: Trust me. Everyone will hear your name, and they'll look to you with the same eyes as they did All Might.

Taiyo: I can't believe this is the only offer I got. I won the festival damnit. I got the crazy bi-

Mei pops out of the corner.

Mei: So, you ready to improve that gear of yours?

Taiyo: Sure.

He starts to forge his signature sword another time, strengthening it further.

Taiyo:  I shall call you, unrelenting fury. I only wish I could have taken you to the sports festival.

He sharpens its edge.

Mei: Try this out.

She puts an eyepiece over his left eye.

Mei: In there is face recognition software, and a database of every known villain, pro hero and current hero course student. You press the button, it'll show you their quirk, and relative danger level.

Taiyo: I know she's using me to test her inventions. Whatever, I'll do it. I'll get some sweet gear from this, and I'll be undisputed, the best quirkless hero.

He turns the device on, aiming his eyes towards Mei.

Taiyo: Forty, huh. So, I guess if you're a forty, suppose the average quirk user.

Mei: Old Stain ranks a five-hundred, Chargebolt ranks a three fifty, so that should give you an idea.

Taiyo: Say, Deku.

Mei: I think he's the only one with one thousand. Even that new guy, Midas or whatever, ranks a nine fifty.

Taiyo: So that's how the ranking works. Right.

Mei: Try this.

She puts a gauntlet on him, it turns into a shield and retracts.

Taiyo: I could deal with this.

Hado agency

Nejire: So, you're Y/N's friend?

Suru's eyes widen as he drinks from his water bottle, almost spitting the drink out.

He gulps the mouthful somehow and asks.

Suru: How do you know Y/N?

Nejire: Silly Suru. I'm his mother.

He stands mortified at the mother of the man who held him to the wall by his throat.

Suru: Okay. I have some things to get rid of.

Nejire: Like what?

Suru: Sorry, gotta go, I'll be back soon.

Nejire: Don't miss your stamina training, Suru.

He rushes into the toilet and pulls out his phone, he deletes every questionable image he has of the pro hero. Sure, your mother never did anything too naughty, but fan artists and photographers had their way, especially when her back was turned.

Suneater agency

Suneater: I know I never sound like it, but son, I'm proud of you. My ranting during training was just to push you further. I was honestly impressed with how well you handled yourself. That was a workout that'd leave me on the floor.

Y/N: Thanks Dad. This is going to be great.

Suneater: You said it, kid.

USJ-

Eri Aizawa walks into the building for a spot of training, she is greeted by Creati.

Creati: Hey.

Eri: Yo, Momo. Just here for a light spot of training.

Creati: All right. Knock yourself out.

Eri: You know I won't.

She walks into the fire zone.

Creati hears a scream a few minutes later. She enters the fire zone, and finds nothing.
