Chapter 40

Next day, I finally switched my phone on and I have thousands of twitter notifications and messages from George, only the messages.

'How can you break up with George with no explanations?'

'George is perfect Laura'

'Get back pleeeease I cant lose another one of my OTPs'

'What about Andrea?'

Only if all his fans know what and who he really is. Im still truly deeply in love with him but what he has done has really hurt and broke me to the part where I have to leave.

I decided to call him whilst Niall is out with Angelica.

"Laura? Uh hey"

"Hi"

"Right! Im sorry for everything okay? I swear to god now that all my undivided love goes towards you and the girls?"

"How do I know that?"

"I know youll be embarassed but a few weeks from now, I have booked us a lie detector test on Jeremy Kyle. Yes I know its only for fucked up people but I really need you back"

"We are fucked up. This is what we need I think anyway. See you in a few weeks"

"Okay bye"

I hang up without sayig bye.

"Are you sure you want to do this babe?", Niall asked arranging my hair before I go up on air.

I nodded. "Please stop calling me babe, im not your girlfriend. That was only one time okay? My feelings was vulnerable", I said shaking in nervousness.

George was already on air and I was called up. "Hi", I said shyly and sat a seat away from George.

"George here has admitted to us that he has been cheating on you and cheated on you in the past. Are you aware of this?", Jeremy asked calmly.

I nodded. "Yes I am, that is why I left him".

Jeremy nodded and so did George. "And how do feel about her leaving you George?".

George shook his legs, his fingers rubbing his chin and his eyes watering. "I know the text message I sent to Jess said that youre my back up and I only love her, this is because I thought that you love Niall and I dont deserve to have someone as good as you, as perfect as you and I do appreciate the things you do for our family. I just wanted you to be happy", his face was fully irrigated with tears.

My own started falling from my eyes. "George, will you please look at the screen", the screen showed Andrea live backstage and the crowd awwd. "She is your daughter, you created this human being because you love Laura and you created another two but you being such a player lost them. You could have had a bigger family but no. Look at her George, look at Andrea, what do you see?"

"My little princess growing up not knowing her real dad and forever leaving Laura the memory of me leaving and cheating on her. I dont want that", George said as Andrea smiles at the camera as she plays with the toys.

Jeremy nodded. "We will be back after the break".

Jeremy left for make up and a toilet break whilst me and George sat there awkwardly not speaking.

We returned from the short break and Jeremy cane back with an envelope. "The results has arrived!", The crowd roared and I swallowed the lump forming in my throat.

"We asked George if he was guilty of cheating, he said yes", dramatic pause, "he was telling the truth. Next question was, has it been the same girl, George answered no", pause again, "truth once again. Next question was, has he slept with Jess or anyone ever since your break up? He said no..", longer pause this time. "He was telling the truth, final question was, has he tried to contact Jess or any other girls to hook up with.. he said no", this is so frustrating, why cant he just leave the tension and get on with it. "Laura you should be proud as George managed to get a full house", Jeremy said and I hugged George and started to cry.

We both appologized into eachothers necks and cried even more. "Now before we wrap up, George, you have a beautiful child with Laura and a half daughter, do not let them slip away again. No go, I dont want to see your faces on this stage again", he said patting George's back and I thanked him.

We arrived back at Nialls aunts place as his uncle and aunt wont be back till next week. "Niall mate, thank you for looking after her and this time I swear to god, nonmore other girls and undivided love goes to her and the girls promise", I said which really made him happy.

"No problem bro. And you better be keeping that promise", he said and we both hugged.

I glanced at Laura who wasbplaying with Anelica and I never really noticed how lucky I am to even have a girl like her in my life. This is my last final chance with her, I know I keep repeating it but seriously, this is the last straw.
