Elfhid's Perspective

"You must be Ergo's little friend, Elfhid, right?"

....

"Me? BWAHAHAHA— The name's Urcis. It was nice to meet you, baby girl HAHAHA!"

Aaah am I dreaming— N-no, I wasn't.. I'm confused about him. Sir Ergo.. Urcis..? His personality and actions are different, what in the arke is this?!

"Sweetie, you're going to be late for your choir!" Auntie Rysav called as I hurried down. "I'm comi—" I slipped downstairs which hurt my butt.

"Oh my.."

I rubbed and it stings so bad, I tried to get up but I felt a presence, it was him.. I couldn't tell if it was Sir Ergo himself or Urcis so I dare not to say anything. "Are you okay?" He coldly said.

I hum on an agreement then I nervously left the house. I couldn't help but think about what happened... Gosh, I really really wish it was all a dream.

Other Perspective

"This human..." Ergo mumbled as he watched her leaving the house. "Miss Rysav, I would like a word with you?"

Rysav blinked, "What is it, dear?"

Ergo told about the potion and the incident last night but he couldn't remember half of it except the conversation inside of him. "No wonder why you were acting up last night.. but you carried my child on the way here." She said while making a special potion for him. "The potion I gave you.. did work but didn't last long as the unknown hideous creatures came."

Ergo couldn't help but went silent while Rysav explaining about what happened last night.

"So my alter came to save me and Elfhid.."

"Alter? You mean that demon vampire living inside you?" She questioned him and he nodded.

Ergo clutched his both fists as he gritted his teeth. "That monster inside would not behave like a—"

"Well your alter did a good job saving you both and he seems to be harmless towards Elfhid."

"What do you mean? By that state to Elfhid?"

Rysav seemed to struggle and find the word fitting to his alter, "He's friendly towards to Elfhid.. He kept calling her 'baby girl' and his laugh, he seems comfy when Elfhid hug you but an alter."

"Is that all my alter did to her?"

"Surprisingly it is, dear. He is an extremely harmless demon vampire, I wish I got to know him more."

He went silent hearing her words about his alter.

"Oh my! Is that a jealousy I sense from you, my dear?" She teased.

Ergo looked away, "I, Ergo, never felt any feelings such as jealousy."

"You are fun to talked to, Ergo." She giggled then gave him a pain relieved potion. "Do you have plans to leave here?"

"I do not know. That human seems to be unhappy but I have to stay a little longer." He said.

"But have you ask her to accompanied you on your journey?"

"I am afraid not, I do not wish her to be with her on my journey."

The room fell silent then Rysav stopped of she's doing then immediately slammed the table. "Did you say that my child is useless..?" She said while smiling.

"No, you misunderstood. It was just.. I do not wish to see her getting hurt." He honestly told her then she sighed.

Rysav tapped her fingers on the table. "Did Elfhid told you that she can do potions.. alchemy?"

Ergo blinked.

"Gosh my child, I taught her a lesson about her talents. Oh well, I'm quite surprised that she mastered that I have taught her just less than a year." She said. "You can change your mind besides you want to get to know my child and be with your journey. I want my child to see what the outside world looks like."

Ergo looked away and think about Elfhid, "Oh dear, Ergo would you mind looking after her. I can sense a problem." She sighed. Ergo obey her order and went after.

He left the house then the ogres, faeries, and elves start to running away out of the village. One of the faeries comes up to him, "Mister, help me! Miss Leiwarltz is in trouble!" The fairy said and suddenly cried. Ergo rushed into a village and saw many creatures were in fear as the creatures were about to eat by those savages, he drew his sword out and charged those savage.

"Go get somewhere safe."

The creatures nodded then runaway, he prepared himself to slain those savages then Rysav threw a potion and explodes. "It will be good if I accompanied fighting with you." Rysav smugged prepared her incantation spell. "Disperse!" Then the surroundings wiped out the savages. "Go find her, and leave this place! Please take care of her."

Ergo proceed to find Elfhid so he decides to go to the church. "Elfhid!" He heard a cry from a church then followed by a loud scream. He saw her struggling fighting off the savage on the ground then put the potion on the mouth, "Drink this, you unholy creature!" Elfhid jumped back then explodes savage's gut. She sighed and broke her sweat, "Gosh I finally finish it off." Then chuckles. Elfhid turned her head and saw Ergo staring at you, "Sir Ergo, you saw that righ-" Ergo ran towards and grabbed her shoulder.

"Do not do that ever again." Ergo worriedly sick to her then grabbed her hand, "We have to leave this village."

"Pardon me?"

"We are going somewhere place, Rysav told me to leave this village and come with me for my travels." He explained quickly. "There are no excuses or choices but to come with me and take care of you." He squeezes his hand, Elfhid felt it and agrees to come with him.

"Then I am honored to be your assistant, Sir Ergo. It is for the best to be with you and your friend together."
