Chapter 36

Renée Dwyer didn't know what to think of her daughter's lapse into insanity .

She was afraid that Forks had did this to Bella considering the fact that the girl was stable when she lived with her in Phoenix.

Then she moved to Forks and she started dating that beautiful boy . She just couldn't call him handsome because he looked too angelic to not be beautiful.

Then she had that accident . She was still fine afterwards. 

But then the Cullens left and Bella was heartbroken .

And then months later the family returned and Bella dated Edward for a second time.

That didn't last long , though . They were not together when the news came that Bella was pregnant with the baby of a boy that wasn't Edward.

Renée Dwyer didn't understand what had happened to make Bella go of the rails like that .

Was it her poor parenting skills ?. Was it something in Forks ?. Was it Charlie ?. The Cullens?. All of those combined?.

She felt incredibly guilty for the years she hadn't properly cared for Bella .

She knew she'd been wrong . Instead of the mother  looking after the girl , the girl had looked after the mother.

She would never win a medal for being the best mother .

Then she met Phil and Bella didn't have to worry as much about her .

Why didn't she do better before then ?. Why'd she let Bella take care of her and didn't look after Bella ?.

She felt incredibly guilty because she knew that she was partially to blame for her daughter's insanity .

She made a vow to herself and her daughter ,that she would make it right by being the best grandma her first and only grandchild would have  .

But first she needed to focus solely on Bella's recovery.

Four months was a long time to wait to see her daughter.

She knew she'd have to wait it out , but she worried . She would always worry about Bella now after everything that had happened.

Bella would also be far enough into the pregnancy when she gets to see her again.

She wondered how her daughter would look with her swollen belly .

To go through this whole ordeal alone was probably hard for Bella.

She couldn't imagine being pregnant with a bunch of strangers as your only company. 

She'd gone to take a look at Evelyn's before Bella had been transferred there .

The people there are highly professionals and they all made her feel especially welcome .

When she asked about what it costs to be treated there, Doctor Small herself had said that a Cullen had paid for everything . Doctor Small just didn't want to tell her which one .

It was probably that mysterious one who Charlie had said people spoke about a lot in Forks.

Charlie said Bella had been obsessed with him .

She wondered how much truth that particular statement held .

She had caught a glimpse of the man and even she had to admit that he was beyond attractive.

But it doesn't mean he was the cause of Bella's insanity .

She would probably never know . And she was okay with it. As long as Bella got better , nothing else mattered .
