Chapter 13

Emma's P.O.V.

*next day*

I was at the mall with Hayes. When he saw his friends he left me. So now I'm all alone walking around, just looking at the clothes in some stores.

I entered Tilly's and looked around.

I see a rack of penny boards. I walk over to the rack and look at them.

I wanted one, but I don't know how to ride it.

Nash knew how he can teach me.

I end up getting one (picture of the penny board 🔝) with some clothing I really liked.

When I was walking out of the store. Taylor comes up to me out of no where.

"Hi!" I said

"Hi." he breathed out. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Well I was here with Hayes but he left me, to go with his friends. So now I'm doing some shopping. what about you?"

"I came here to buy some clothes............well actually I came here to ask you something..."

"What is it?" I asked.

"Do you want to hang out on Friday?.." He asked.

"Yeah!" I responded. "But on Wednesday you have to come with me to look at a apartment."

"I will." he smiled.

I smiled back.

"You penny board?" He asked.

I opened the bag to see the board. "Actually no, but hopefully Nash will teach me."

"I can teach you, if you want?" He asked.

"Sure."

He grabbed the penny board from the bag and set it on the floor.

"Now?" I asked .

"Why not?"

"Okay." I said.

"Wait I need one. Let me go buy one." He entered Tilly's as I waited outside.

Seconds later he came back with a black one with white wheels.

We where on the top floor. "Should we go to the bottom?" I asked.

"Nah."

An hour later we were both riding the board all around the mall.

We didn't even get in trouble. I did fall a couple of times but Taylor was there to laugh at me, not catch me.

"Hey, let's go get something to eat." I suggested.

It would be a late lunch, since it was 4:19pm when I checked the time.

We made our way to the food court. We go to Subway and order our sandwiches. I grabbed the tray that contained two 6 inch sandwiches, 2 bottles of ice tea, and a bag of chips, with 3 chocolate chip cookies.

We both paid our own meal.

We sat down in a two people table, and started eating.

"Where are you??" I asked hayes through the phone.

Taylor left a while ago and I stayed at the mall. Just to do a little more shopping, and look for hayes.

"Home. What about you?" He asked all calm.

"Really. I've been at the mall looking for you." I said.

"Well my friend gave me a ride since you were with Taylor."

"Oh. well bye see you soon." I hung up.

When I got to the car I put the new bags with clothes in the back with the others I bought earlier.

When I got back to Nash's house, I put my stuff in the gust room. After I just eat dinner, took a shower, and went to bed at around 10:37pm.
