After almost about 40 to 45 minutes I walked downstairs dressed in some ripped mom jeans and a graphic t-shirt that has my favorite oldies band on it, AC/DC. My parents say I have an old soul because of how much I LOVE the 50's-00's, I do wish I was born sooner to experience that era of music, clothes, parties, literally everything you've could've done back then, but I was born right when it sorta ended. I was born 1999, which makes me 22, my birthday is in March.

I walk downstairs to see what Isabel made. I walk past her and went for the fridge. She sees me and sighs. I give her a confused look and she says..

"Go back and change into something thing nice. I told you we're going out." She gives me an annoyed look as I sit down on one of my island stools.

"What's the occasion? and why do I have to change into something nice? you know I don't have anything." I told her while taking a sip of some orange juice I took out of the fridge.

"Uhm here I made your favorite! waffles and bacon!" She says with a smile, handing me my plate of food. She knows me so well and this only means she wants something. "What is this about Izzy?" I ask looking at her with an eyebrow up taking the plate.

She leans over the island in front of me and looks down twiddling with her thumbs. "I know you don't like doing this kind of stuff but I was wondering if you would go with me to a party?" She looks back up to meet my eyes to see my reaction. I look at her with an 'I don't know' look, then she continues..

"It's a business party, you remember my little sister right? wait why am I even asking if you remember, you literally call her a little sister you never had" she chuckles and so do I. "And what about this "business" party?" I ask motioning two fingers as quotation marks.

She then continues.. "Well Ave, Mia invited me to go to this party and I'm inviting you because I won't know anyone there, it's all her coworkers and such." I nod and say ok.

"Fine. I'll go but like I said I don't have anything nice to where" She gives my a big smile going ear to ear and runs to me, giving me a big hug. "Thank you! Thank you! I really didn't want to go alone. And I know you don't have anything, so I bought you a little something!" She give me a wink and walks out the kitchen.

She walks back in and hangs me a black silk dress that'll fit above my knees. It would definitely attract dudes. I look at her shocked and tilted my head side ways, giving her a confused look. "What kind of business party is this to where I have to wear a dress like this?" I laugh a little and she just grins and winks.

I just shake my head laughing to myself and ask her when the party is.

"It's at 7.

I nod knowing I have about 3 hours to get ready. "Alright. I'll be ready by 6." She jumps up and down and squeals in excitement. I walk back up stairs to start getting ready.
