Scorpius's Pov:
A few weeks had passed ever since my moms death. I was still heart-broken and couldnt believe she was gone but I tried to accept it. It was time for that Ministry Ball dad was telling me about. I really didnt want to go but I didnt really have a choice. Plus, dad said that the Potter will be there too.
When we arrived, a few people came up to us saying their condolences. After a while I slipped away from all the old people telling me how much I had grown when I bumped into someone. It was Albus. He looked like he was sneaking away too.
'Hey Scorp! Didnt see you there' he said
'Its alright. Just a question, why were you sneaking off?' I asked
'There are SO many old people telling how much I had grown and I couldnt take it anymore so I slipped away' he added
'Same here' I replied
'Also, incase you are looking for Lily she should be here any minute now, just there by the staircase' he said winking at me and grinning. I rolled my eyes and thanked him for the information while heading to the staircase. When I got there, I saw her.
She was walking down the stairs gracefully in her silk green dress that fit her perfectly and when she saw me, she smiled her perfect smile and came towards me.
'May I?' I asked. She didnt reply, just took my arm, smiled and we went towards our parents. After a while we sneaked off to the balcony.
'You look perfect' I told her, brushing a strand of hair from her face
'So do you' she added abc without thinking, without hesitation, I kissed her. After we broke appart we looked at the stars and talked, talked about our future, about anything really.
Lily's Pov:
When I got home I went straight to my room and fell on my bed. I sat there for a bit, thinking about the amazing night I had when I decided to change into my pyjamas. After I did that I took out my favourite book and I started reading from it. The next morning I realized I fell asleep reading. I got up, changed and went downstairs to eat breakfast. After that, I decided to visit The Malfoys becouse my mom baked some cookies and told me to bring them some. When I arrived, I rung the doorbell and Andromeda opened the door, she looked tired but happy to see me. She told me that Scorpius and Draco left just before I came and she decided to stay home. I kept her company for a while then I went home.
