I used to be this notorious kid who was always curious with random things. You might ask me how this is even related, but I'm just so crazy as that.

So, when I was 15, I was obsessed with passing notes with random stuffs at class. It was a way that we all could converse in between the classes. So this one day, we were passing notes as usual.

You see, I'm a very popular girl for all the wrong reasons. People tease me with guys name only because they've proposed me. They just simply made that a thing, because it was just fun right?

So on this particular day, I was in a really bad mood because of something (I don't remember why). But we were passing notes as usual, and I commented something bad about the substitution teacher. You see, the subject teacher was on leave so some other teacher had been assigned to take care of us. It was simply annoying because he wanted us to just shut up, and he wanted pin drop silence.

This guy, drew a d*ck on the note paper, and it also looked like a middle finger (you get the idea) and threw it right on my head. We grabbed the teacher's attention. You see, that note had every kind of shit on it, the things you don't want the teacher to see. And I, had written something bad too.

He asked me to bring it to him, and I had no other go. Everyone looked at me as if I was their only savior, who would just get him some other paper. But you see, it just didn't strike my mind. So I ended up giving the same paper.

He looked at it for a second, folded the crumpled paper neatly and tucked it into his shirt pocket. My heart stopped. We went ballistic after he left. And also, he was our vice principal who teaches the higher classes.

So this guy, let's name him Larry. He's my senior whom I'll be enacting a drama with on annual day. He's so nervous around me, and runs away whenever I talk too much to him (because of this, I did think that he hates me). He used to bring me chocolates everyday , and he was so nervous whenever he had to talk to me in person. He's absolutely amazing to everyone, and he's also one of the toppers in my school.

He asked me what happened during the lunch break, because I simply came earlier to the practice because my classmates despised me then.

So I told him what happened, and he said he'd search his room.Of course I didn't believe him, because I wouldn't dare to search a teacher's cabin like that. But he insisted that he did, so I agreed. Later that day, he told me that he had found nothing, he said he had checked the dustbin too. I didn't believe him at first, but then his friends went hysterical when they approached. They were furious because he had taken such a risk.

Fast forwarding to the next day, we all stood in the assembly shivering in the sun (we were really scared that principal might make an indirect announcement about our indiscipline). It was all good, until the vice principal approached and asked us to stand for a while. For our utter shock, he took out a paper and held the mike.

He announced some names of classes and asked them to stay back. Because it was their turn to clean the ground. I had almost teared up, Larry approached me and gave me a huge smile. He said he had taken the note out from his staff note book (that's where teachers write their plans) after the school hours. I was so glad, he even asked my classmates to stop teasing us with so many names.

The thing is, I had never kissed a guy. and when people teased me with names, they thought I had done something with them.

Fast forwarding to present time. I'm 18 now, and I had texted Larry over a year ago and we don't talk anymore because he had proposed me. He did not want to hurt his feelings by talking to me anymore. We were good friends for over three years, and he couldn't understand why I wouldn't like him when he was ready to do anything for me. He had the courage to confess it to me in text one day (because I had moved to another place) and I simply refused.

Was it the right thing to do?
