"Switch to manual control, switch to manual!!" Ravenna exclaimed. Her escape pod was going down.
"I am sorry, I cannot complete your request." the computer said. Ravenna groaned.
Multiple buttons were pushed, levers switched, voice commands denied. This was it. She was going to die. And for what? All she tried to do was stand up to King A'qòv, and she was the one who was given the death penalty.
The hot feeling of an atmosphere engulfed the small pod. Drips of sweat slid down Ravenna's face. She panicked, not sure of the outcome that was imminent. Eventually, she saw the green ground below her. She closed her eyes, and the pod hit the ground.

The body of a woman spilled out of the smoky wreck. The Vhredonese pod had crash landed on a small hill. Ravenna groaned, rubbed her temples, and looked up.
"Where am I?" she pondered. The landscape around her was green. No other colors except the blue of the sky and white of the clouds. Just endless miles of green. Wait, no. She squinted her golden eyes, and saw some grey. It appeared to be a city. It looked large, taking up a great expansion of the forests and swamps surrounding her. She began to walk, clutching her side. Eventually, Ravenna came across a road. Trucks tumbled by, not noticing the strange alien woman standing on the side of the road. She looked towards the city, and saw a sign.
New York City, seven miles, it read.
"Civilization," she breathed. And with that, she began the long tread to the city.
