I was at the boys practice. Don't get me wrong, I could never be the manager of these morons. I was only there because I promised Atsumu I'd come to see his practice if he bought me my lunch. Seriously this man really likes to flex he spend 12$ for me to come see him play volleyball. Anyways I was waiting on him because practice ended 30 minutes ago and he was cleaning up the gym when I felt my phone vibrate in my hand. When I glanced down to see who it was, I sighted, recognizing Ren's number. Ren is my ex. When we started dating, he said he didn't want his friends and family to know quite then. So we'd always meet in secret spot and make out a little. He would then walk away saying he had to go. After about a month, I started feeling a little left out of this. He never considered my feelings and I started getting tired of it. So I started ghosting him. One day, he intercepted me in the hallway and asked rather rudely why I was ignoring him. I told him I didn't wanted to do this anymore and he started getting angry. But since we were in the hallway, he couldn't really make a scene so I walked away awkwardly before he could add anything. And here I was now reading his message.
He was apologizing about what happened and asked if we could meet a last time for him to give me his real apologies. He also said he was waiting for me behind the basketball gym. I really thought about not going because after all, we stopped seeing each other for a reason. But I felt bad for him and thought that maybe he was for real.
I got up awkwardly and I took my sport bag (because I had a practice this morning) heading for the door.
"Hey Y/n where are you going??" I heard Atsumu scream from the other side of the gym
"Hey um I have to go somewhere I'm sorry see you tomorrow?"
"Ok see you tomorrow" he said turning around preventing me to see his disappointed face
I walked out the door heading to the basketball gym who was, strangely, on the opposite side of the school. As I was walking, I heard something behind me. When I turned around, I saw nothing special. I deducted it was a cat or something. As I got closer to the gym, I saw that there wasn't anyone in the gym. I walked around it and saw Ren there waiting for me. He immediately came up to me smirking as if he wasn't about to apologize. And he didn't. Instead, he looked at me straight in the eyes and said
"I know you still want me"
"Um not really Ren... you said you'd apologize so do it quickly and I'll go.."
"come on, as if you were really over me" He said as he towered over me making me back up against the wall
"Ren could you move a little you're kindda blocking my way" I said trying to pass besides him
"Now now why would I do that" he said pressing me against the wall and towering over me with my head between his arms.
I tried pushing him away without success, only getting him more worked up. He picked me up from the ground and pressed his body against me to keep my feet's from touching the grown. My bag slipped from my shoulder landing at his feet on the ground
"Ren let go of me" I said once again trying to push him away, without success. Tears started to accumulate in my eyes as he leaned in closer and closer to my face
"Let g-" he forcefully smashed his lips against mine blocking my complains
I used my last strength in a last try of pushing him away, once again without success. Why did I have to choose a soccer player as my ex. He is super tall and super strong
As I closed my eyes praying for it to finish the sooner possible, i suddenly felt the pressure against me disappear. I crashed on the ground sitting up against the wall. When I looked up, I saw Atsumu holding up Ren by the collard. I never saw him look so angry. He smashed Ren against the wall a last time before dropping him, letting him the chance to escape. Ren ran away without looking back even once, disappearing behind the corner of the wall.
Atsumu looked down at me worriedly picking me up gently placing me on my feet
"Omg Y/n are you ok??"
"Yeah I think so..."
"Ren's such a dick I can't believe he dared to do that! Next time I see him I'm destroying this jackass"
"N-no it's ok I already caused you enough problems as it is. How'd you find us here?"
"Well, don't take it wrong but when you left, you looked pretty worried. So I followed you and I was about to turn around when I heard you telling him to get off. I'm so sorry I didn't arrive sooner"
"No no don't apologize just you being here is a miracle thank you so much"
"No worries it's a pleasure. Would you... would you like to come at my house? My parents aren't home"
"Oh. Huh sure"
