The big day arrived and our first basketball game was today. I woke up and got dressed in my slacks with converse and a turtle-neck shirt with a blazer on top. (Y/n) didn't have class until a little later in the day so I didn't go and wake her up like I usually do.
Yeonjun walked out of their room dressed nicely as well. He wore a turtle neck shirt as well and slacks but he had on Sperrys instead of converse. He handed me my necklace I must have left in his room at some point.
"Thanks, you ready for the game today?" I asked packing my bag.
"Yeah I am a little nervous but I know things will go alright." I agreed and looked at his room door.
"Is she-" I started
"Yeah, She's still sleeping. She stayed up working on a project and didn't finish until late." Yeonjun replied. I slung my book back over my shoulders and made my way to class.
Lunch time
I hadn't seen (y/n) all day and was antsy to see her. I was waiting outside her class watching everyone but her leave.
"Hey, Taehyun is (y/n) in there?" I asked.
"Yes, she is talking with someone. You can go in" he replied.
"Thanks see you at the table in a few" I Pat his back and make my way into the classroom. I stand against the first desk in the front row by the door slightly sitting on it. I watch (y/n) talking with the TA and take a piece of paper out of her hands.
"Thank you I will read over it," she said then turned to leave but stopped when she saw me. Her mouth dropped in shock and her eyes analyzed my outfit. She had never seen me dressed up so this must be a big surprise for her.
"Hey, babe ready to go?" I smirk enjoying her reaction.
"Y-yeah I mean yes let's go" she gulps stuttering nervously. We walk out of the classroom and make our way to the lunch table.
"Wow, Soobin you clean up good" one of the girls in the hall complimented me.
"Soobin you look hot," another said.
"Wow, we always knew you were handsome but this is another level" we heard around us. I could see the jealousy in (y/n)'s eyes. She was on the verge of combusting if she heard one more compliment.
"Wow, Soobin-" Beomgyu started but got cute off by (y/n).
"UGH I GET IT MY BOYFRIEND IS HOT BUT HE IS MINE AND I CAN ONLY LOOK AT HIM" she yells in frustration. She grabs the collar of my blazer and pulls me down for a kiss slipping her tongue in my mouth and slightly biting my bottom lip to then suck on it slightly. She pulled away rolling her eyes and went to sit down at the table.
"What was that about?" Beomgyu asked confused.
"She's jealous"
"Ah got it" Beomgyu laughed. We got to the table and I slide in next to (y/n). She was avoiding all eye contact with me making me chuckle.
"Babe are you okay?" I asked trying to stifle a laugh.
"Mhm," She hummed back annoyed.
"Are you sure you seem agitated?" Beomgyu poked trying not to laugh himself.
"FINE! I am irritated. Everyone is simping over my Boyfriend and I can't be mad about it because I am the biggest simp of them all. Like it's obvious he is super handsome" she started whining halfway through making it even harder not to laugh.
"Babe calm down... I am yours no one else's" I wrap my arm around her shoulder and peck her cheek.
"What did I walk into?" Kamal asked confused with his eyes wide open.
"(Y/n) was jealous and Soobin reassuring her nothing new" Taehyun replied.
"By the way, I have something for you and Yeonjun" (y/n) digs in her bag and hands me a goodie bag like the one we gave her for her first volleyball game.
"Thanks, babe!" I kissed her then turned to investigate what's inside my bag. I took out a colorful envelope and went to open it when she stopped me.
"Open it right before the game" she winked at me. I inhaled sharply and placed it back in my bag.
"Thanks for the bag princess," Yeonjun says to (y/n) sitting opposite from me. She rolls her eyes and dismisses the pet name he said in a playfully flirtatious tone.
"Yeonjun you are looking extra sexy today!" A random girl from behind me shouted across her table to ours.
"Thanks, beautiful" Yeonjun winked at her making her blush.
"Hey, Yeonjun! Soobin! the coach is looking for you!" Joey walks in with a new colored cast.
I kiss (y/n) goodbye and make sure she is coming to the game before getting up and leaving with Yeonjun.
Time skip to half time of the Basketball game
"Okay, we are down by 9 points. Don't get discouraged we are doing good still. I want to switch so Soobin is on the left and I am on the right then Kell can take center. Good?" Everyone nods and makes their way out of the room. I forgot I had an envelope I was supposed to open before the game and went to my locker for it.
"Fuck! She is amazing" I whisper to myself opening the envelope and finding sexy photos in my Jersey. I put them away and feel 100 times more energized and ready to play the second half.
We tied with them and I was standing at the free-throw line. The other team's captain had pushed me out of the way and the ref called a foul. I was nervous and everything around me was dead silent. I looked around and saw (y/n) giving me a thumbs up and blowing me a kiss. She was in the Jersey Yeonjun had made for her surrounded by the other roommates.
I inhale and dribble the ball a few times then inhale again. I shoot and it actually went in.
"Yes!" I whisper catching the ball again. One more that's all I need one more. I shoot and the buzzer goes off.
We won!
I jump over to the team and we all huddle up together cheering. I climb up the steps of the bleachers to reach (y/n). She meets me halfway. I hug her tight lifting her up. The first game of the season is always important because that's what sets the attitude for the rest of the season.
"Thanks for the pictures" I whisper in her ear.
"Did they help you?" She questioned.
"Yes, but I forgot about them until half time so it really helped at that point." She laughed happy that she could help in just the slightest way.
