"Kacchan?" The freckled boy questioned quietly as he stood pinned against the wall in the locker room by the fiery blond. "What's gotten into you?" He asked in a sincere voice. Bakguo hasn't been acting like himself since they had their huge battle during their work studies. He's been more kind and patient and hasn't yelled at Midoriya or Todoroki much. Both boys were at a loss when it came to Bakugo's new behavior.

"I'm sorry Deku." The blond whispered as his hands kept his childhood friend pinned to the wall. His eyes stared down to the white and gray tiled floor. He wasn't brave enough to look into the freckled boys emerald eyes. "You were right last month." He started with a shaky breath. "I'm not the nicest person in the world and I probably never will be, but there's no need for me to act the way that I do. I take it too far sometimes and I know that."

"Kacchan?" Midoriya whispered softly in a pained voice from hearing the sincerity of the man across from him.

"I'm sorry for pushing you around for so long, I'm sorry for bullying you so god damn much in middle school. I'm sorry for making your life a living hell. I'm sorry for punishing you for just being a good friend. Most importantly, I'm sorry for ever making you think you weren't capable of being a good hero." He finished with a heavy sigh as he continued looking to the ground. "I don't need you to say anything in return, I just need you to know how sorry I am. I'm not saying I'm going to wake up tomorrow and be a completely different person, but I am going to work on it." He stated in a quiet tone as he released his hold on his childhood friend. He didn't care enough to stick around and watch the green haired man cry for the millionth time because of him. He slowly began turning around to leave, but stopped in his tracks when he felt a strong pressure on his chest before he felt two arms snake around him to his back.

"T-thank you." Midoriya sobbed as he squeezed his friend tightly. Those were the words that he has been needing to hear for a long time. Those were the words of encouragement he has needed his whole life and he finally got to hear it. Bakugo let out a sigh of relief as the shock wore off. For the first time in their life, he slowly wrapped his arms around the green haired man, pulling him closer. He let silent tears roll down his face as he held his childhood friend in his arms. He didn't deserve his forgiveness after everything he had done, he knew that. However, it didn't stop him from doing everything in his power to earn it.

"What are you still doing awake?" Aizawa questioned in a tired expression as he stepped out into the night to see one of his problem children sitting by the fire. "I told everyone to go to bed."

"I couldn't sleep." Bakugo replied as he pulled his head from his memories. "I figured I could sit out here and see if any ships sailed by or planes flew over." Aizawa's plan was to have someone out there every hour, but everyone was too tired to do it tonight. Even Bakugo said he was tired earlier, so he was concerned about him not sleeping.

"Well, I can take over." His teacher replied with a heavy sigh. "Go get some sleep kid." He ordered before sitting on the ground next to his student, silently encouraging him to get up.

"Like I said, I can't sleep." Bakugo said with a yawn.

"What's on your mind?" Aizawa asked with a small sigh. Bakugo didn't answer him as he stared at the small fire in front of him, watching the flames grow smaller and larger as a gust of wind blew through it. "If you're yawning but can't sleep, it's usually because you have something on your mind." His teacher stated when he got no reply. "So what's on your mind?" He asked again.

"How long do you think we're going to be stuck here?" Bakugo asked quietly. Seeing Todoroki and Midoriya in the state they're in and constantly being around them was bringing up memories he didn't want to think about. It was hard enough to not think about them at school, but it would be impossible here.

"They have to already know that our plane never made it through the storm. Depending on how far we got pushed away from our path in the storm is going to determine how long we're going to be here. Hopefully only a day or two, but my real guess is a week or two." He replied with a heavy sigh. He knew the pro's usual planning for stuff like this, so his guess was most likely the best answer they were going to get.

"So what's going to happen in the next two weeks or so?" Bakugo questioned as his gaze shifted towards the sky. The stars were shinning the brightest he had ever seen them before. The night sky was a different sight when there wasn't a million street lights shinning around.

"We're going to survive." Aizawa replied simply. "We're going to find a way to live and enjoy each other's company. We're going to keep fighting, just like hero's do." Aizawa replied. He had never seen the fiery blond so quiet and torn about something in his life. However, he wasn't going to pry. When he wanted to talk about whatever was on his mind when he walked out, he would listen. Until then, he would just be there and offer his support.

"I never thought just surviving would be a goal in my life." The blonde replied as his eyes flickered back down to the fire.

"Surviving is the ultimate goal in the hero business kid." Aizawa informed with a sigh as the sounds of a branch breaking behind them echoed through the silent night. Both of their heads snapped to the direction of the noise before Todoroki made his presence known.

"Sorry to interrupt." The heterochromatic man stated in a hushed voice. "Midoriya woke me up and said you left over two hours ago and haven't returned yet and he was getting worried." He stated towards Bakugo before looking down to his own watch, not even knowing what time it was. He let out a heavy sigh when he saw it was almost three in the morning. "And since he can't move that well due to his ankle being messed up, he sent me."

"I'm coming." Bakugo groaned with annoyance as he forced himself to his feet from the ground. "Thank you." He whispered to his teacher before slowly walking away. Aizawa showed a small smile in return. He wasn't sure what had happened to his student to change his attitude recently, but he was glad it was happening. They had been trying to break his behavior since he started at UA, and it was nearly impossible. He was just glad he had people in his life who cared about the fiery blond enough to keep fighting.

"You good?" Todoroki whispered when Bakugo finally landed himself next to him.

"I'm fine idiot." He replied with a heavy sigh before they slowly made their way back to their makeshift tent. When they arrived, they dropped to their knees before crawling into the small hole.

"Kacchan?" Midoriya whispered with worry. "Where were you? Don't scare me like that. We have no clue where we are or what kind of dangers there are here, you can't just disappear like that." He lectured in relief as the two boys crawled back into their positions on either side of the freckled boy.

"I'm sorry." Bakugo whispered in reply before turning to face the man in the middle. Todoroki froze for a minute when he heard those two words leave the blonds lips. Either hell was freezing over or Katsuki Bakugo just apologized.

"Just don't do it again." Midoriya whispered in reply as he relaxed onto the hard ground once more, his sweatshirt being the closest thing to a pillow he was going to get.

"I won't, now go to bed." Bakugo whispered with a heavy sigh as he closed his eyes as well. It only took a few moments for all three of them to fall into a peaceful slumber.
