Annabeth POV
I glanced up desperately and saw Sam smiled down at me.
So I was going to die.
"ANNABETH!" Percy yelled.
"Go, Percy! We both clearly know what the prophecy said! Swear on the River Styx that you won't kill yourself!" I gasped. I was half buried now, and Hela clung onto my ankle.
"No. Annabeth, I-"
"HURRY!"
"I... I Persues Jackson swear on the River Styx that I won't kill myself." Percycried.
"Remember, Seaweed Brain. I will always love you." I smiled.
The walls caved in and Sam took my hands. Then I blacked out.
When I came to, Sam was holding my hands and we were flying over the void.
"Sam!" I grinned happily.
"Honestly, Annabeth. Even I feel sorry for you two. Never seems to get a break." Sam laughed.
"Yeah." I smiled bitterly. Percy and I now felt a million miles apart.
"Don't worry. You guys'll see each other soon enough." Sam assured me.
"Thanks Sam, but why am I... here?"
"The Seven are all supposed to be here after they die. Then they'll help fight in Ragnarok, as Odin said. He also said that Zeus agreed, but once you die in Ragnarok, you get another chance at life. But seriously, I think you guys deserve a break." Sam explained.
Screw you, Fates.
"We're here!" Sam announced.
Man, the place is enormous. It is so beautiful, too, that I cannot describe it. It has forest green roofs and white marble walls.
"Greetings, Ms. Chase." someone greeted me at the door. I'm not sure what to make of him. His long, bushy beard covered his face, and he wore a suit.
"Ah, Helgi. She's one of the specials." Sam replied for me. Helgi immediately dropped to his knees.
"Sorry, Ms. Chase. I did not know." Helgi apologized.
"I hate formalities. Please don't bow to me."I helped him up.
"Thank you, Ms. Chase. Do you have any luggage?" Helgi smiled.
"No?" I answered, looking at Sam questionly.
"Just tell me where her room is, and I can take her there." Sam instructed.
"Of course, Sam. Her room is on floor nineteen, beside Magnus Chase's room and Mallory's room." Helgi grumbled.
I hesitated. Magnus is here?
"What? You scared?"Sam teased. I pushed her playfully and walked in.
Inside was even bigger. I saw dead warriors killing each other, but no one seems to mind. Then, I remembered Magnus telling me how any einherjar that died in Valhalla would revive again in their bedroom. I walked in and marveled at the place. An axe flew at me three times when I was trying to get to my room (I didn't even know I had one) and I dodged all three of them.
"And we're here!" Sam announced proudly. We had walked for about fifteen minutes and through a beautiful red carpeted corridor.
I opened my room door and inside is exactly what my room would be like if I designed it.
Inside, the walls were a bluish-gray tint. There were big windows, a bed in a corner, a desk beside the bed and lots of cabinets. A bright light hang from the ceiling and in a beautiful glass tank filled with water, beside the cabinets, was two fishes- one blue and one gray.
The bathroom wasn't so bad either. It had a shower and a bathtub beside it. The sink was made of marble and the toilet stood beside the drawers in there. The room itself is pretty big. The walls were light gray and built-in lights shone from the ceiling.
I walked back out.
"Welp, I need to go now. Valkyrie buisness." Sam check her phone.
"Ok then. Thanks, Sam See you!" I grinned.
"See you!"
With that, Sam disappeared in a golden light. A knock came from my door and I went to open it.
"Annabeth?"
"Magnus!"
