"He's hurt" said Sunghoon with pain in his voice. "What can we do?"
He was still looking at the mirror, incapable of moving. His knuckled were white from the grasp he had on the furniture.

Jay looked at Jungwon, but the latter didn't seem to have an answer.

"Does anyone know how he got inside the mirror?" said Jungwon, trying to understand the situation from the beginning.
"We were all upstairs..." replied Jay, not finishing his sentence.

Silence filled the bedroom. Each were focused on their thoughts.

"Do you guys hear that?" said Jay after a while.

Jungwon frowned and Sunghoon finally let go of the mirror.

"I don't hear any-" started Sunghoon.
"It's coming from the hallway" interrupted Jungwon.

It sounded like high claps on the wooden floor, but they couldn't guess what made this sound.

Jay was trembling, but he nonetheless walked in front of Jungwon and headed for the noise outside the room. The two others followed him closely.

Jay opened the door, holding his breath.
"Guys" he whispered. "I think the noise is coming from the kitchen now."

They walked towards it close to each other. Jay kept stopping to hear the noise and when they were almost in the kitchen, the noise stopped.

"I'm going to open the door, get back" whispered Jay.

His hand reached for the handle, and he opened the door rashly. The next thing he knew, he was on the floor, on his back, with a furry creature on him.

"It's just a dog?" said Sunghoon.
Jungwon just laughed, releasing his stress.

"What are you doing here" said Sunghoon, looking for the dog's name on its collar. "Layla?"

The dog barked and walked away. She stopped in front of the entrance door and looked back at them.
"Should we follow her?" asked Sunghoon.

Jungwon gave his hand to Jay, helping him to stand up.

"Do you really think we should follow a dog we don't know?" asked Jay, lifting his eyebrows.
"You're just mad because she made you fall" replied Sunghoon. "I have a feeling she's going to help us."

Jungwon elbowed Jay, and they agreed to follow the dog outside.

Layla guided them through the trees until a hidden garden shed. She stopped in front of it, sat down and looked at them. The door was locked with a huge lock.
"Do we have to go inside?" asked Jungwon.

Layla looked at the door and barked out loud.
"We shouldn't have followed a dog, I knew it" said Jay.

"Layla, is that you?" said a voice coming from inside of the shed.

The three boys opened their eyes wide.

"Who's inside?" asked Jungwon.
"I should be asking who's outside!" replied the voice.
"I'm Sunghoon, and I'm with Jay and Jungwon. We're trying to find a way to help our friend. He's trapped" said Sunghoon.
"You're friends with Sunoo?" asked the voice.
"No, he's called Heeseung" replied Jay.
"Then he's probably with Sunoo. She got him too?" said the voice.
"Who are you talking about?" asked Jungwon, intrigued.
"Look" said the voice. "There's this woman. I think she's a witch. She took Sunoo, and when I came here to help him out, I couldn't find him in the house, but I saw him" said the voice.
"In the mirror?" asked Sunghoon.
"Exactly. I've been trying ever since, but the only thing I managed to do was meeting this dog and get trapped here" said the voice.
"Did she trap you too?" asked Jay.
"Yep" replied the voice, lower.
"Okay, we're busting you out" said Jungwon.
"Good luck with that" said the voice.
