"First impressions of the bustling streets of the harbor?" Beidou asks, holding you back from running away right into the city.
"Well... All I can say is that I somewhat like it. It's more lively than Inazuma, and that makes me happy, for some reason... Gosh, I can't wait to see the whole city. I'm sure it looks amazing." You say, with an excited tone, forgetting about all of your worries for the moment.
"Well you'll soon be able to go on and explore... But you may need a guide!" Beidou chuckles, "Liyue Harbor is quite big and a bit crowded in some places, and I don't want you losing yourself in it's endless streets full of merchants. Kazuha, do we call someone?"
She was right. You did need a guide. Although the city didn't look that big, you probably would lose yourself around it. And you also needed someone to help you find some place to sleep at, since you had no clue on where you'd stay.
"Yeah, you're right, we should get him someone to show him around. And neither of us can go... So we do need to get someone. Who, though?" Kazuha replies.
"Well, I don't know either... Maybe one of the three? Xianling, for example?" Beidou says, while looking in the distance of the city.
Xianling. Sounds like a nice enough name. You wondered what they were like.
What did they do for a living? Were they actually from Liyue Harbor, or have they just moved here, from various reasons?
"Hey, Y/n, stay on the ship while I'll go look for Xianling. Don't leave, or else I'm afraid you'd end up wandering off into another nation, hah" The captain laughs, as she went down from the ship. "Seriously, stay here, and when I'll come back with her, you'll be free to go on and explore with her."

Atleast 15 minutes pass, and then you could finally see Beidou and another, shorter girl, next to her, walking excitedly. And next to the girl, some little creature that looked like... A little bear, maybe?
Once they got close enough for the one who you supposed was Xianling to actually see you, she almost flew right on the ship to get to meet you.
"Hello, I'm Xianling, one of Liyue's best cooks, ehe! You're name's Y/n, right? It's great to meet you! I haven't met anyone from Inazuma until now, so I'm very excited! I have so many questions to ask you... AND SO MANY PLACES TO SHOW YOUUU-" She excitedly said, shaking your hand rapidly, but getting interrupted by Beidou.
"Xianling, give poor Y/n a rest, and don't go full-on question mode. It has been a long day for him, yet it seems like he, aswell, is pretty excited to walk around the place. Take him around the city this evening, and leave the surroundings for tomorrow. You two have all the time in the world to explore, so it wouldn't be that good to go see everything in one day, right?"
"Ahah, Captain Beidou, you're right- But still... That won't stop me from asking him atleast some questions about his home! Well, see you around, hehe!" The girl replies, grabbing your hand and pulling you away from the ship, the little creature following you two.
As you tried to say a quick goodbye, you saw that Kazuha had have disappeared while Xianling got there. Was he the type of person who didn't really like to be around many people?
He did say that he enjoyed peace and quiet, so you wouldn't really doubt that he didn't want to be the center of attention. And you couldn't blaim him, some peace and quiet was sometimes a very nice gift. You rarely got something like that, atleast in the daytime.
At night, you would sometimes sneak outside, to do different kinds of things. But atleast you had that. Atleast you were able to go outside during the nighttime.
And then you thought about the fact that you didn't get the chance to ask him on why was he an "Inazuman-runaway" aswell. But you didn't want to invade his privacy, maybe he didn't want to talk about it. It seemed perfectly reasonable to you, and maybe, one day, you'll eventually find out.
"So, did I give you a good enough explanation about Liyue?" Xianling asks, while you just now realize she was talking all this time and you haven't been paying attention.
"Well, uhm, you see-"
"Oh, you haven't been paying attention... Eh, don't worry about it! It's fine! You're probably already thinking of your home? Oh, I've wanted to go to Inazuma for so long... If only there was an easier way to get there and if those storms weren't there! Plus, I heard that the Raiden Shogun has sealed Inazuma almost fully, and not only with the storms... And what's up with the Vision Hunt Decree? What's up with an archon literally taking back what she gave? What's so wrong with having a Vision?" She starts to throw out questions, being hard for you to remember each one.
"Oh, well, to be perfectly honest, I don't know either why the Shogun won't accept Visions. She has the concept of "eternity" and thinks that any mere mortal who possesses such a powerful gift from the gods will destroy that concept. So, she takes the Visions of who she doesn't consider "worthy" of them. And to think about it, alot of time has passed since the last Electro Vision was given... I can say, all I know is that I was around the last ones to end up with one."
She listened to you carefully, paying the utmost attention to everything you said.
"And now that's why she sealed the whole nation. No one going in, no one going out. I know that even the merchants, who, for example, bring products that are necessary in there, are going through a hard time getting their ships into Inazuma. And once they reach Ritou, they have to go through so many strict security procedures, both time consuming and expensive. And think about it, that happens each and every time they get there. That's why we don't really get anyone there. Not that they'd be allowed too easily, but, yeah. I can say that even I didn't know if I had any chance of leaving, since I couldn't be sure if I'll find anyone who just happened to be leaving."
"Wow... So many harsh rules... Phew, it's so good that Liyue isn't like that! I mean, sure, we have security, the Milelith, but it's definitely more relaxed that Inazuma... And the Vision Hunt Decree, huh... I could never imagine living without my Vision! And I've heard that terrible things happen to the ones that get their Visions taken, they can even go insane... But, now you won't have to worry about that! Liyue is definitely more friendly than that! Oh, you'll love it! And our cuisine, it's absolutely amazing! I don't doubt that Inazuma doesn't have any good recipes, but... Wait, actually, would you mind giving me some of them, if you remember any? I really want to see if I can make any, even if I probably don't have most of the ingredients! Maybe even make them kinds of custom-dishes! Ahah, I really hope you remember atleast one or two! It'll be wonderful to try and experiment with different cuisine, and maybe I'll find some of the ingredients from the many merchants we have around Liyue, even if I doubt it... But, come on now, let me show you around, and then, when the sun sets, you have to excuse but to come with me and test out my cooking! Let's go!" Xianling says.
"Well, you're in luck, since I used to cook alot, so I remember most of the recipes I used, so I'll be able to give you some of them. And I'm sure you're right, I'll enjoy staying in Liyue. Well then, off to where are we going first?" You say to the cheery cook, who was already running off, the little bear following closely, resulting in you speeding up so that you wouldn't lose her.
"Oh, so you're a cook too?"
"Not really-"
"Also, let's go to the main square first!"
