The three days went by pretty fast. Muichiro and Y/N sort of spent most days sparring, for Y/N to become even faster and stronger. They would sort of do this from dawn till dusk, with occasional food and hydration breaks and of course sleep/nap breaks. If the two weren't very tired, they would sit and stargaze without saying a word. They still didn't talk much and the Mist pillar still had his guard up around the older boy, but he was getting comfortable again. The younger did understand that the outburst the (h/c)ette had was due to stress and bottled-up negative feelings, but seeing him so angry shook everyone up that day. Y/N is never angry. Sure, he gets annoyed and resorts to (playful) violence, but he doesn't act like that. And no matter how hard the ravenette tried, he couldn't forget that day. He also couldn't forget about how they had cuddled the night before, but that thought was overshadowed by the pessimism Muichiro held. Both just hoped they could get over this, but neither made a move to interract with the other- they both gave space and avoided one another. It was a problem. And on top of that, Y/N wasn't going to confront the mint-eyed boy, since it wasn't his job to make the first move. He had already apologised, so he expected the Mist Hashira to speak out on his concerns. And Y/N wasn't wrong one bit- he had already shown how guilty he felt and made up for the way he had treated his friends multiple times over, it was just the younger that was holding onto that memory. It wasn't the older's job to confront his friend, seeing as the other boy was clearly uncomfortable around him, so he wasn't going to push the latter to talk about it. He was going to patiently wait until the time was right.
The two were currently eating outside, Muichiro was cloud gazing while Y/N was playing with the grass as he usually did, without a care in the world. All until two familiar crows flew down, landing next to their respective owners. "Pillar meeting." Raven said, poking Y/N with his beak lightly. "Shit, in how long?" The older boy asked, swallowing the rest of his food quickly. "IN 20 MINUTES! START RUNNING, TOKITO-SAMA AND HIS IDIOT FRIEND!" Ginko yelled, clearly annoying Y/N with the nickname. Muichiro snickered under his breath, getting up as he helped the (h/c)ette stand up as well. "This is why Raven is the superior crow." The older retorted before the Mist pillar's crow started to peck him angrily. "Muichiro, get your (homophobic /j) crow off me, please." Y/N said, turning to his friend, who simply shook his head and smiled as he ran off. "Ugh." Y/N made a noise in annoyance as he ran off to catch up with Muichiro, leaving the two crows behind. "Why do you just leave like that? You're such an ass." The (h/c)ette complained as he finally managed to be able to run next to the other Hashira. "Can't waste time." The mint-eyed boy resonated, not even sparing the latter a glance. The e/c boy just sighed and sped up, the other pillar followed. They sort of raced eachother for the most part- the race didn't last very long since both of them were fast as hell, but somehow Y/N won the race. Obviously, he didn't celebrate, but he was going to boast about it at some point. The two parted ways soon after they entered the HQ, Y/N being lead inside the Ubuyashiki estate while Muichiro went out to the garden to wait with the other Hashira. Giyuu, Shinobu, Mitsuri and Obanai asked him where Y/N was, but he simply shrugged and waited for the meeting to start. Soon after, two children announced the arrival of the master, watching as all the pillars kneeled.
"Hello, my children. I am happy to see that all of you made it today to our semi-annual Hashira meeting. I really enjoy our meetings, personally." Kagaya greeted the pillars, bowing his head in respect for them. "Greetings, Oyakata-sama. We are happy to see you are in good health!" Mitsuri greeted before anyone else, earning a glare from Sanemi, who also wanted to greet their leader. Everyone did, but the two were always the most eager to do so. "Thank you, Mitsuri. First of all, I am here to announce that I have appointed a new pillar." Shinobu's expression instantly brightened, Mitsuri's expression was already as bright as it could be, while Obanai had a small smile under his mask. Giyuu, who stood further away, also looked fairly proud, along with Muichiro. The 4 other pillars, Kyojiro, Tengen, Sanemi and Giyomei looked fairly interested. "I'm happy that there can be more of us! I hope it's someone flamboyant!" Tengen exclaimed, weird sparkles appeared around him. "What's the point in making more people into Hashira? Aren't we enough to do the job?" Sanemi said, grumbling under his breath. The sentence was too quiet for the Master to hear him, but the pillars near him did. "I am also glad there can be more of us. I shall pray for the new pillar's health and courage." The Stone Hashira said, rubbing his large praying beads between his hands. The Flame Hashira proceeded to agree. "I hope the new pillar is an excellent fighter!" Kagaya turned to one of his children and nodded. The child went in the estate, coming out with a familiar face following her. "Everyone, you may already know him, but I would like you to welcome the new and first, official Cloud pillar, L/N (M/N) Y/N." The leader of the Corps said as Y/N stood beside him and bowed respectfully to his fellow Hashira. "Hello everyone. Seeing as I am new, I hope we can work well together. Please take care of me accordingly." The young boy said politely then lifted his body from the bowing position to look at the Hashira one by one. His eyes fell upon a familiar scarred male with white hair, who was glaring at him angrily, making the (h/c)ette sweat-drop at the sight. "Y/N, please take seat next to Giyuu so that the meeting can start. The rest of you can get to know the new pillar after the meeting." The new pillar simply nodded and sat next to his aniki, the meeting starting soon after.
