Two weeks had passed and Byeol continued to chase after Niki, trying her best to understand why he suddenly disliked her.

Now, she was in a bread store, looking at all the different kinds of loaves of bread that were placed on the tray.

"Whatever. I'm not hungry."
She decided to skip her meal again.

What was the point of eating when she was not even happy? Niki was not even there for her anymore.

It was Niki who made everything look too perfect to Byeol and now, she could not accept anything without him.

She then exited the store and walked outside of the mall where there were very few people around since it was about to rain soon.

"I should head back to the dorm. It's boring outside-"
Just as she was about to complete her sentence, she bumped into someone.

"Niki?"
She instantly recognised him and grabbed onto his hand.

This was her only chance left...

She pleaded and became as desperate as she could.

"I told you that there's nothing much to explain already."
Niki rolled his eyes but, Byeol went on her knees.

Niki was about to quickly help her up but, he held it in and closed his eyes.

"Get up."
He sternly said and she shook her head.

"Get up and I will say everything you want me to answer."
Niki said in a softer tone but, it was still harsh.

"Are you sure?"
Byeol looked up and he reluctantly nodded, that was when she finally got up.

"Tell me why didn't you pick up my calls during the time after my surgery."
Byeol asked.
