Izuku x Jiro  -  A oneshot story by Sonlix

- - -

Izuku trudged his feet home from school. It had been another tiring day at UA as they had gone over the results of the final exams and used way too much of their time practicing on what they could've done differently to either use less time or actually pass the exam as some had failed. Luckily, it was Friday now, so he could finally put his feet up and turn down the volume of the world.

Taking out his key, and opening the door, Izuku let out a sigh of relief. He was so ready to just laze around in his bed for the rest of the evening and then peacefully fall asleep without any problems or distractions. That's what he hoped at least.

After Izuku had taken off his shoes, he relaxed his sore muscles in the hot shower. The water glistened off his toned and scarred body. After getting a towel around his waist, Izuku looked at the mirror in satisfaction. It may not look like it, but he's actually pretty buff when all the clothing comes off.

Flexing in the mirror for a few seconds and gaining a bit of self-confidence, Izuku grabbed his phone that was currently on the sink playing music. He grabbed the middle of his towel and leaned back slightly, flexing his 8-pack, strong arms and hiding his face behind his phone.

Taking a pic that showed off his body perfectly with the hot water running down his muscles and the light in the bathroom highlighting his whole body, Izuku smirked at his phone-screen. His face was hidden, his dark and green hair laying loosely on his head, with a small smirk reaching just over the edge of his phone.

He may not act like he's very strong, definitely not when it comes to the will-part of his persona. But that's it, he had to put up that persona, or else things would get a bit wild. You see, Izuku has always craved to be one of the 'cool kids', just because he saw how happy they could be, and how they were usually friends with very many people.

He knew he could do that, he was just too shy to start now. It would be a bit weird if the local cinnamon bun that can't even put up a normal conversation with a girl suddenly comes on 'bro' levels with everyone.

Anyway, actually drying off, Izuku started preparing a quick taco, hyping himself and the food up at the same time. Completely in his zone, vibing to the music on his phone, Izuku prepared the delicious meal. Today was left-overs-day anyway, so his mom wouldn't really mind whether they ate together or not.

After he had finished his taco and seen the latest videos on heroes, Izuku decided to relax to the max. Laying in bed, humming along to his favorite songs, he felt himself drift off to sleep. It was pretty late anyway, so there was probably no up and coming problems. At least, he could postpone them until tomorrow or Monday.

Suddenly, dampening the sound of his music, a buzz came from the phone on his night desk. Opening his eyes in a bit of confusion, he turned toward his phone. He only had notifications on for messages... Why would anyone message him now?

However, it wasn't a direct message, he was added to a group chat. What? Why? Izuku clicked the notification, coming into a full-blown conversation about something involving a party...

Grunting, Izuku scrolled up and read from the start. It wasn't anything too interesting. It looked to be a group chat consisting of most of 1-A. He scrolled and scrolled through and past a dozen or more memes posted by the "Bakusquad" as everyone called them. You already know who that is.

Coming to the start of the chat, Izuku read through the paragraph of a text first and then the important replies, skipping Mina, Kaminari, or Sero's frequent dumb comment to the real subject of the chat.

It was a party... today... at Kendo's... Oh, God...

Looking at the time, Izuku noticed the party would start in only 15 minutes. Placing his phone back down, Izuku laid out flat on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He thought it over. Was it really worth to go out now? He was home. He was comfortable. And he really didn't feel like he needed to go.
