He walked into the living room purposely ignoring the tense air around Gai's and Kakashi's staring contest he asked Genma where the others were.

"Kotetsu went out to take Iruka to apologize and clean up whatever mess he's made, and Izumo is distracting the angered civilians and shinobi for him to do it without getting into trouble" he stated with some mirth, but his eyes were set and serious on the two in front of him.

"Sayuri's asleep but I think somethings bothering her" those words seemed to break whatever trance those two were in because in the next second both heads snapped towards him with their eyes gazing into his soul, he fought the shivers that threatened him, seeing as no one spoke and even Genma was giving him a side-eye while worryingly looking over to where Sayuri's room was, he cleared his throat and explained it to them the best he could.

"She was frowning pretty hard and when I checked to see what was wrong even with med ninjutsu, I couldn't find anything, but we all know I'm basic at best in that category..."

"I don't understand how that means somethings bothering her," Kakashi said, his tone bland but his eyes contemplative.

Genma scratched the front of his throat in an upwards motion, he was thinking, Gai had his hand under his chin and frown on his face, they both were taking it seriously seeing as they knew her best from months of exposure to the girl, but it was Genma who took his spot in explaining. "She never frowns, her face stays mostly neutral and on occasion, she gives a big gummy smile, but other than that she doesn't cry, whimper, or even frown no matter what, which means her frowning means somethings up with her"

Kakashi nodded and he too took the hand under chin position to think back to when he had her, she was a mess and was soaked in blood, she was laid next to a boy with a smile on his face, the nurse said she was okay but had suffered from chakra strains from being exposed from the 9 tails, she also said something about how she was chakra sensitive from what had happened, Is that it? That might be it, but Raido had said he used med nin on her, the nurse said chakra hurts her so what if he hurt her without knowing? He said she was asleep but what if she's not??

Clapping his hands together, he gave an eye smile to the three and spoke, "well, she is chakra sensitive and I don't think using medical ninjutsu will help her so if you'll excuse me," and poofed away.

Genma, Raido, and Gai were left gaping at the empty spot where Kakashi once sat before they all came to their bearings and raced to Sayuri's room to make sure she was okay.

why didn't the bastard tell Gai about her being chakra sensitive??? Isn't that important information to tell someone who's watching you're fucking kid!! Oh ha! The nerve, I've got some words some not-so-nice words for that idiot.

Judging by the stone-cold look of his partner he knew Raido thought the same.

Hurrying up and opening the door they were met with the sight of Kakashi cradling a sleeping, Sayuri, and quietly cooing at her face while rocking her in his arms.

The scene felt awfully out of place and made them feel as if they were trespassing in their own, well in Gai's, home, and judging by the glare Kakashi had sent them, he thought so too.

Sheepishly they all hustled their way out of the room with Kakashi following them after he put her back in her crib.

"She's not dead, just sleeping" they could hear the relief in his voice as he said those words, but they sounded as if they were more of a reassurance to him than to them, but Raido's shoulders sagged with a slight tremor and he realized why.

Raido thought he had accidentally killed her.

So now all back in the living room sitting across from one another, it couldn't have felt more awkward, Gai was the first to speak.
