Katsuki and Mina followed Izuku out of the main building and to a small clearing that led to a path through the woods. Katsuki was, for what may be the first time in his life, actually relieved to be surrounded by other people because he couldn't stand the tense silence that had plagued them ever since they left the garden. He walked over to Kirishima.
"Hey! Bakugou! What's up man?" He asked enthusiastically.
"Hey, dumb hair'" Katsuki sighed.
"What's wrong? You seem kind of...off, "
"It's...nothing important"
It was then, at the exact wrong moment that Mina came bounding up.
"So, are you gonna tell me what I walked in on back there?" She asked, apparently having realized that she had interrupted something big. Kirishima's eyes widened and he glanced at Katsuki.
"Right now?" Katsuki groaned. He was already emotionally drained and didn't have the energy to deal with this. There were even still lingering flutters in his stomach.
"Um, yes right now Katsuki Bakugou. Whatever that was, I can tell I need to know now or I will die," Mina exclaimed.
"Well I don't really know what happened either," Katsuki snapped.
"I am so lost right now..." Kirishima added
"What happened was that I caught Katsuki and Midoriya getting real cozy in the garden," Mina said glaring at Katsuki.
Katsuki guffawed.
"We weren't...I did not...that's not true" he stuttered, his face heating.
"Mhm" Mina hummed, giving Katsuki an unamused look.
"Wait...Midoriya Sense?....isn't he like...old?" Kirishima asked, still very much not following the conversation.
"He's 19 dumbass," Katsuki snapped in response, still avoiding Mina's question.
"For real? He looks older. 25 at least I'd say-" Kirishima said
"Just shut up," Katsuki groaned.
"Yeak. Kat's real sensitive on that topic" Mina huffed with an eye roll
"Don't call me that!" Katsuki shouted
"Why not? He does," Mina counterd
"That's different and you know it," Katsuki growled "Why are you so pissed at me?"
"You started it," Mina huffed.
"You know what? Forget it." Katsuki turned to exit himself from that conversation.
"I'm so confused," he heard Kirishima say from behind him.
Katsuki walked away.
