Momo had enough. She barged in Kai's room and gave him breakfast. And asked him
"Why can't you talk to me? What's the problem?"
"You want me to be okay with this? You want me to live with you and leave my life back at earth?"
"I am sorry. I didn't think about that"
"Sorry, isn't gonna cut it out."
"Well, I can't change anything now, Can I? My next wish to the Divine Tree will be to send you back to Earth."
"Doesn't your 'wish making tree' only allows one wish a year? Does that mean I'll be stuck here in this hell place for 1 fucking year?"
"1 Year in this dimension is just 1 day on Earth from what I know of."
"Eat your food or it's going to get cold." She broke the silence
"Open your mouth" She tried to feed him the toast as if he was a toddler. His pupils enlarged. His mouth opened his mouth without thinking. The food entered his mouth. Realisation hit him. He spat the piece of toast on the plate.
She let out a small chuckle at the boy's cuteness.
Out of curiosity, she asked "So, what's your age?"
"17, what about you?"
"Well, before I came in this dimension I was also 17"
"Do you have any hobbies?" She continued.
"I like playing many instruments, what about you?"
"Really? I like playing the violin, what about you?"
"The Guitar."
As they were talking, hours passed without realising. It was as if they were parted childhood friends meeting again and catching up on each other.
They were finally starting to get along. Everyday they would try something new. One day, they would go to the ocean, another day they would explore the forests. They took the advantage of the dimension. There were many things to explore. It wasn't as boring as he expected it to be.
"Yah, Kai help me out with some chores." She said while washing his clothes in the river.
"No thanks."
"This isn't a request, it's an order."
"Who are you to order me around?"
"It's so obvious that you like me." His heart pounded like a drum in his chest. His heart fluttered, he hadn't felt like that in a while. In embarrassment, he pushed her in into the water.
"Ya, what are you doing? I'm going to kill you, just wait."
"Sure but only after catching me, if you can keep up with me that is." He said in a teasing tone while ran for his life.
Days went like this without realising. 2 months went by. They were catching feelings for each other without realising. Was it possible for two people who knew so little about each other to fall in love?
