4 Years Later:

After the situation with Evie being kidnapped, Ty doesn't trust anyone to watch her while they are away. Evita even wanted to watch Evie since she was named after her. Evie is 4 and a half years old. One day, Ty and Tandy finally gave in and let Evita watch Evie while they helped Tandy's mom move into her new house. When Evita was watching her, Evita noticed that when Evie was a baby, she had bright brown eyes. Now they are silver. Not grey, PURE SILVER. Tyrone often wondered if Evita was jealous that he and Tandy had a beautiful daughter instead of him and Evita. Evita often was tempted to grab Evie and run. But she wasn't that crazy knowing Tandy would probably kill her. Evita was sure she was the only one who noticed Evie draws pictures of the cloak and dagger symbols with a phoenix over them. Evita is Evie's godmother. Tandy asked Evita several times not to call Evie her own daughter until she died but Evita keeps saying "Evie was meant to be my daughter". Tyrone doesn't really trust her at this point. Evita walked downstairs to find Evie with her phone taking a picture with a cat filter.

"Now who the hell taught this child to take a picture with a filter?" Evita asked herself. Otis always felt spiteful about Ty's daughter being mixed or Tandy being white. Bridgid always wished Evie was her granddaughter. Evita was on the phone with someone. For a 4-year-old, Evie was pretty smart. Evie was eavesdropping.

When Tyrone and Tandy got home:

When Tyrone and Tandy walked inside and noticed no one was downstairs. They went upstairs and found Evita and Evie sleeping on a rug in Evie's room. Tandy woke up Evita and Evita slapped her."Ooooooh" Ty instigated. "What? At least she's ready if someone comes in here." Tandy said. "Wait, so you're not mad?" Evita questioned. "No." Said Tandy. Evita kissed Evie on the forehead and left.
Ty picks up Evie and puts her in her crib. Ty told Tandy that she could go to sleep and he'd lock up. "Are you sure?" Tandy asked. "Yeah, I promise." Ty winked at her and said "Goodnight." "Goodnight." Tandy said. Ty walked downstairs to set the security system and noticed a paper on the kitchen table. Turns out it was Evie's drawing. He noticed his and Tandy's symbols and a phoenix on top. He figured that a phoenix was probably Evie's symbol. Unique but weird at the same time. What would make her symbol be a phoenix?
