The wedding was glamorous and brilliant, charged with ineffable splendour and subtle impeccability. The day was wonderfully warm, creating a perfect atmosphere for the outdoor wedding. The guests were many, chilling and talking to each other with joyful faces while the pleasant classic melodies kept reverberating at low volume in the background, making the setting comfortable for the main couple and the guests. The yard was adorned with all the necessary decorations and faced the astounding sunset as the evening came. The wedding ceremony was already over, so Yeonjun and Beomgyu were standing in the centre at the moment, hand in hand, Yeonjun's arm gently holding the younger's petite waist while Beomgyu leaned against his shoulder with his free palm, dancing to the melody with small, delicate sways of their bodies.
All of that was a real definition of heaven to Yeonjun. Feeling Beomgyu so close and watching the ring on his finger, he felt like he was being in a dream. It had already been two weeks since their official marriage, but he still had difficulty believing that Beomgyu was finally his, because two months bide felt like he'd been waiting for him for centuries.
No words could express the happiness he was experiencing at the moment, it felt like he was a newborn, feeling all refreshed, vigorous and full of vitality. That evening was something he would never forget because it had already imprinted on his jovial mind for a sweet eternity. It was a fascinating sight to see Beomgyu looking all ebullient and sparkling exactly like him as if the boy was sharing the same happiness as him. Realising that he had managed to bring that beautiful smile to his face and those little dreamy glints of vivacity to his delightful hazel eyes, Yeonjun was feeling the sunshine of pride flooding his soul; like it was almost more happiness than his fragile heart could take.
"I think the sun is setting because it felt oppressed by your brightness and decided to hide", Yeonjun flirted with enchanted eyes and a cheeky smile as he danced slowly with his angelic younger husband, scanning his features to admire every little part about him.
Embarrassed by the brazen, but palatable remark, Beomgyu felt an endearing blush of shyness spreading through his rosy cheeks. Even after spending two whole weeks dealing with Yeonjun's endless compliments and small fluttering expressions of admiration, he still hadn't learnt how to take them confidently without combusting and burning up. He would get all shy over again when Yeonjun said something cheeky and flattered him, but you can't blame him, this was a whole other level of intimacy to him and he needed some more time to get used to it, however, Beomgyu didn't complain a bit.
"You're making me embarrassed ", he grumbled in a faint voice, hiding his flaming face into Yeonjun's chest as the other grinned widely at his adorable reaction, gladly welcoming the younger's addicting warmth as his eyes shut in pure bliss.
A tenuous sweep of a tender evening breeze made the parsley green grass shiver on the ground, swaying vaguely as if they were trying to dance like the people on the dance floor. Yeonjun could feel a pleasant caress of Beomgyu's soft curls as a flurry of air mused up their hairs, making the strands wiggle playfully.
Beomgyu was in a state of complete calmness as he nuzzled up to his husband's broad and toned chest and completely lost himself into his arms. It was a remarkable fusion of peace and a tide of positive emotions at the same time. Beomgyu felt drunk from a magical elixir of fizzy relish as his feelings had been at their peak that day. Seeing so many happy faces, having a loving husband beside him on the most beautiful evening of his life and feeling so weightless, totally free of every kind of worry in the world, he couldn't help, but feel the first twinkle of happiness flaring beneath his chest and his feelings towards Yeonjun were thriving. Love was unfolding inside him like a flower and consuming his entire being with absolute satisfaction. Beomgyu couldn't ask for more. Everything he had ever wished for was being given to him every single day and making his spirits fly high. Even though his soul was still carrying some weight of his dark past, and Beomgyu was certain that it would never be wiped out of his memories, it was still beautiful to watch things falling into place and feel Yeonjun's love courting his heart every day.
