EMERGENCE POINT — 2023PHASTOS AND THENA WERE BUSY DISTRACTING IKARIS ON THE DOMO, not wanting him to ruin their plan against the emergence, which they had been working on for a good while now.
In the meantime, Aziel, Druig, Sersi and Makkari were on land, admiring the smoking and cloudy volcano before themselves for a few seconds.
With one twist, each of them activated the golden bracelets that were wrapped around their wrists, the familiar golden lines forming around their bodies once again.
As all of their powers merged together to complete their plan and mission, they all were brought up and into the air, slowly rising up one by one.
Ikaris knew what his former friends were up to, briskly flying out of the Domo. He glanced around, a furious look upon his face once he spotted the four who were still on land.
Without any hesitation whatsoever, Ikaris flew towards the group of four with all of his might, specifically targeting Druig.
Ikaris landed onto the ground, storming towards Druig as he immediately shot laser beams at him.
Once Druig was knocked down, the process of the energies mixing between the six had stopped, causing them all to also fall from the ground, but more gracefully.
"I should've done this five centuries ago!" Ikaris yelled.
Ikaris gripped tightly onto Druig's throat once he was close enough, choking him and dragging him into the air with only one hand.
Aziel's light blue eyes would widen out of pure shock and fear. His features saddening, he was only able to let out a yell, not able to go after Druig and Ikaris as he couldn't catch them quick enough.
"No!" He cried out.
Ikaris didn't care enough to listen to Aziel's painful shrieks. Instead, he shoved Druig into the ground, blasting his lasers at him as if he had gone crazy.
Aziel had never felt so hurt before, his heart crashing into a million pieces as multiple tears ran down his cheeks like an endless river. His vision was all blurred up due to all of the water forming within his eyes, his lip trembling uncontrollably.
He was so upset. He wanted to just end Ikaris' life right then and there. He knew that this would happen. God, he fucking knew.
He clenched his jaw tightly, tears still strolling down his cheeks. He finally stormed towards Ikaris, who was still floating in the sky.
Ikaris quickly noticed Aziel walking into his direction. His eyebrows furrowed, a frown crept onto his lips, not daring to attack Aziel just yet.
"Druig's gone!" He firmly told. "It's over!"
Those words made Aziel feel even worser. It felt like one half of his soul had just left his body. It felt as though somebody had just stabbed a knife right into his heart.
Aziel just looked up at Ikaris for a moment, trying to process the whole situation. His eyes already red from crying, he inhaled in a deep breath in attempts to relaxing himself a bit more. But, obviously that didn't work.
"When I said I was going to kill you," he stated, "I meant it."
