(Y/N) sat alone at home silently reading. Her lamp cast a pale orange light across the wall. A shadow began to form on the orange surface, causing (Y/N) to freeze in place. Her heart beat rapidly as she stared at the rising shadow. It grew until it nearly reached the ceiling, twisting and shifting as it worked to take form. She immediately recognized the outline from Mark's drawing...
A gasp escaped her throat as things started clicking. The shadow stepped forward, peeling off the wall like a sticker. It was glossy and glistening beautifly in the light. Mesmerized, she didn't notice the pale white face mold together on the oval-shaped black head. She didn't notice when it glided across the room towards her. Not until it was towering over her, staring into her eyes. (Y/N) snapped out of her trance and gasped. It was cold. And it was breathing. Breathing ice-cold breaths right onto her face. A sharp chill ran up her spine. As the face continued to shift, she could see a pair of striking dark eyes, a long fine nose, straight mouth, and a slight stubble that dotted the chin. It was strange that all sense of fear vanished. She was merely intrigued by this intruder.
It felt like eternity of the two staring at each other. The intruder never moved, as if studying (Y/N), as if wanting to remember every little detail about her face. Whether this was a good thing or not was a mystery to her. She just couldn't get enough of those delicious eyes. As soon as she gathered the strength to speak, the intruder was gone.
