"How many points would we get next month?" I asked. Some people had confused looks on their faces, probably thinking this was a stupid question. "Are you stupid? Didn't sensei just say we will receive 100,000 points every month?" I heard a voice. Of course, it's his. I'm gonna ignore you Yama-going to be expelled-uchi.

"Can you answer me sensei?"

"I cannot answer that." She replied with a smirk.

"Oh, then can I buy that answer and the explanation behind it from you? You said that we can buy anything off this campus with points, right?" Finally, everyone else shut their mouth after hearing this.

Sensei chuckled, "Yes, you can buy the explanation, but not by private points."

"What do you mean by that, sensei?" Hirata asked.

"I can't go into details, but since this explanation affects the whole class, this cannot be bought without the approval of the whole class, but if you all agree, this would cost you 20,000 points from your allowance."

The class erupted after this. Most of the girls and boys started opposing this purchase, the loudest were Kei, Shinohara and the idiot trio. Well, this was expected. I let them shout for a few seconds more and then looked and Hirata and nodded. He got up and said, "Please, can we let him speak first." That shut up the girls. I then looked at Kushida and she got up, "Yes I agree with that, can we talk about it for a minute." And that got the idiot trio quiet. Thank you, Hirata and Kushida.

"First of all, my name is Sheno Drew, nice to meet you all. Think for yourself, giving 100,000 yen to 480 students every month, that is spending over half-billion yen every year. Even for a government school, this is too much to give unconditionally to high schoolers." Even those who weren't already doubtful about this started wondering.

"Sensei just said that we would receive fewer points next month onwards, so the allowance can definitely go lower. She also told us that we were given an allowance based on our evaluation. So what if their evaluation of us goes down? Wouldn't that mean that we would receive less allowance?"

"Are you sure about this?" Horikita asked.

"I am not sure, that's why I am asking for the explanation. Of course, if my assumptions are wrong and we lose points meaninglessly, I would distribute all of my points to everyone in the class. So would everyone agree with me to buy the explanation?"

"Yes, I agree with this purchase." Horikita replied.

"I believe you are right." Hirata said.

"Me too." Kikyou said.

This is great. All three of them give leader like aura, so everyone allowed me to buy the explanation.

"OK then, let me start the explanation. This point system, also known as the S-system, has two types of points- class points and private points. Private
points are the ones which you get every month, i.e. the 100,000 points you received today. Whereas, class points are the collective points of a class. Every single class in the first year receive 1000 class points at the start of their academic year for getting selected into the School. Every 1st day of a month, these class points are converted into private points by multiplying them by 100 and then distributed to everyone."

"Behavioural issues such as coming late in the class, using phone while a teacher is teaching, fighting, etc will decrease the class points. Points can also increase, decrease or remain the same according to the results of 'special exams' conducted by the school where you will compete against other classes." This sentence started some murmur in the class but sensei continued anyways.
