-Draco's POV-

"Draco, wake up."

I was woken up by a voice of a woman, whom I couldn't seem to identify because of my blurry visions.

I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand while Y/n was still asleep with my other arm hugging her.

"You should get ready." The woman, who woke me up, was my mother. "The Dark Lord has called for a meeting."

"But who will stay here with Y/n?" I asked.

"Aerin will stay with her." My mother smiled. "You don't need to worry. She'll be alright as long as Aerin is here with her."

I nodded.

I slowly pulled my arms under her neck to avoid waking her up, especially when she's peacefully sleeping.

My mother had left the room and I was already sitting down on the side of her bed, slipping my feet into my black slippers.

I turned my head back to her and smiled, leaning forward and planting a kiss on her forehead before I left.

-Y/n's POV-

My eyes flickered open from the sunlight that came through my window.

My hand tried to find someone next to me, but it was already empty. Draco was no longer next to me.

"Miss, you're finally awake," I turned my head to Aerin upon hearing her voice. "Your husband and Mrs Malfoy were at the meeting today with the Dark Lord." She told while she was sitting on the stool and swaying her feet under the stool.

"Meeting?"

She nodded smilingly. "Aerin was told by young Master Malfoy that you should never go downstairs at the moment. He wants to ensure that you are safe. I have also brought your breakfast here." She told as she jumped out of the stool to take the tray table of food on the coffee table at the lounge area of the bedroom, then went to me, placing it above my lap.

"Thank you," I smiled at her.

"Just leave the tray there on the end table and Aerin will take it later so that Ms Y/n could get rest." She snapped her fingers, and all the things on the end table were placed on the coffee table for a while so that I could place the tray on the end table. "Aerin will be right back, and oh, Healer Oakfire will arrive later." Then, she left.

Eating my breakfast feels like eating bitter food. It has been like this when my fever started, and it's one of the many reasons why I eat less. But well, usually, I don't feel like eating, not because of my taste buds' problem, but because sometimes I feel like my stomach was swirling inside.

My feet swept off under the blanket as I went out of my bed.

My legs still feel a bit weak and wobbly, but I think I could manage to walk to the library that was located also on the second floor but in another hallway.

Being stuck inside this room, resting all day and just only reading the books that I have, feels boring.

I know I wasn't allowed yet to wander around, but I needed new books to read and the library might have many interesting books that I could find and read. Could be perhaps, romance, or maybe fantasy, or something historical, but also romance.

I peeked outside the door, still wearing my blue pyjama and a shawl wrapped around my shoulders.

The hallways were still gloomy and there are no other people walking by, for they are all in the Dining Room having their meeting.

Walking through these halls was not the same as the halls that I usually would run around, back in the Auclair Manor. This was rather gloomy or lonely, while the Manor I used to live in was bright and warm.

As I was halfway to the library, now I just noticed that I wasn't wearing my slippers.

Silly me.

But I just went on instead of going back just to get my slippers.

I held a grip on my shawl as I walk and finally arrived at the tall dark wooden door of the Library.

I haven't been inside yet, but when I first visited here, this was shown to us, only that is, we didn't get to go inside.

The palm of my hand was pressed on the cold golden doorknob, twisting it open until a bright light had welcomed me.

Unlike other rooms, whose windows are mostly covered by dark green curtains, this room's window's curtain was folded and was placed on each side of the window, letting the sun give light to the library.

Bookshelves are tall like in Hogwarts, but there is a ladder in each bookshelf where you can glide it to the left or right, wherever the book you need is from.

My knees may be weak, but I think I could still climb up to the book that captured my eyes, Jane Eyre.

How weird it is to have a muggle novel inside of the Manor, especially when my Pureblood Father-in-law despises muggles. Draco too used to despise muggles. He used to bully them a lot, also with the half-bloods, or the one they call blood traitors, in our 1st to 5th years. Just only this 6th that I didn't witness him threatening any of them. Must be because he was busy on the cabinet.

As my hand took the book out, I got down on the ladder and went to the table and sat down.

It was clearly left untouched for many years, noticing that dust are making the cover filthy.

I blew the dust from the book's cover, making the dust spread to the air in a form of a cloud that caused me to cough as I opened the book.

By the look of the pages, it seems to be new or maybe people in here haven't read it yet.

I heard from Luna that this book is about Love that knows no age. Love truly knows no age.

Pages through Pages through pages. My nose was still buried in the book without my head flinching to any sound I hear and forgetting what time it was.

A yawn suddenly escaped my mouth, and my eyes tried to fight my sleepiness, but in the end,  I failed and now I found myself sleeping on the book, with my arms that served as my pillow.

-Michael's POV-

Panic was the only emotion I feel while searching for Y/n around.

Draco has told us that she's missing again.

Why does she always vanish when she's still sick? She was supposed to be in bed like what the doctor has prescribed to her. What if she was found again in the garden, especially when it's windy today.

As I passed by a door, I noticed that it was slightly opened.

In the Malfoy Manor, they don't always leave the door open, they always leave the door closed, and the only person who doesn't know that in here is Her.

I pushed the door open and closed it behind me after I entered.

I walked through the pathway, checking on every side and corner of the library until I reached the lounge area.

There I found her asleep with a book under her arm and her feet has no slippers on them.

This is not sleepwalking anymore. She must've gone here, to find herself a book and now she found one, only that is she fell asleep on it because she was still sick and tired.

I went closer to her and smiled, making myself ready to carry her into my arms.

I bend my body down and slipped my arms under her legs and on her back slowly, so she wouldn't wake up. I lifted her up to my arms as her head rested on my shoulder.

"Ms Y/n, are you-" Aerin was surprised upon seeing me carrying Y/n while she's holding the slippers that Y/n must have forgotten to wear.

"Aerin, would you mind taking the book on the table? She hasn't finished reading it yet. And oh, Mind if you leave a bookmark on the page she was in?" I whispered.

"Aerin won't mind, sir." She smiled, heading to the table.

And with a snap of her fingers, a bookmark floated to her and landed softly in between the pages that Y/n has left open.

-Draco's POV-

Running around, up and down the stairs, trying to find her in every room.

She has gone missing again for the second time. Why does she do this?

The meeting has just ended and Healer Okafire has just arrived 3 minutes after the meeting ended. When we showed Healer Oakfire to her room, she wasn't there again and she has left her slippers.

This girl is making herself iller than she was right now.

She wasn't in the garden too, and that only leaves me the library.

I was about on my way up again to the second floor, but my eyes caught on someone that devastated me.

She was cradled upon Michael's arm, asleep, and Aerin was following them, with a book in her hand and slippers.
