Alex (real name: Sophia) and Dylan were only 5 years old when they first met. They clicked right away and became friends so fast it was like they have been friends since birth. Ever since they became friends their friendship has become closer and closer everyday.
They also became friends with someone named Mars (real name: Fiona) in kindergarten too but their friendship with Mars wasn't as close as the friendship of Alex and Dylan. Their friendship was so close to the point where sometimes Mars would feel left out.
Skip to a couple of years later and they are in high school. At that point alex found out that they were Bisexual and also non-binary. The friendship between Mars, Alex and Dylan still remains but Alex's and Dylan's friendship got even closer even though it seemed like it couldn't. They also became friends with two people.
Crash and Cayden, so that meant that the friend group had now 5 people in it. Alex and Dylan were always so close that people would think that they were dating even Mars thought so too. When Crash and Jupiter first saw Alex and Dylan they also thought they were dating. Mars was so done with third wheeling alex and dylan so they were glad that there were new people in the friend group. Cayden and Mars also started dating and even though Alex and Dylan weren't dating, crash felt alone and lonely (me);-;. (im gonna stop capitalizing cuz im lazy).
But Alex has been feeling something new when they are around Dylan like if butterflies were in their stomach fluttering around. Who knows what that feeling could mean but it's surely not any crush. Or a more than friends feeling because alex and dylan are just friends. right?
