Chapter Eighty Two

"So, while I was gone, Jacob left the pack with Seth and Leah, Jacob imprinted on Bella's baby, and Bella is a vampire because of the baby," Daria said, looking over at Sam,"Am I missing anything else?" She asked, but Sam shook his head.

"No, not really. I doubt the Cullens will be here much longer though, since nobody can know about Bella's vampirism." Sam replied, making the girl sigh.

"That's going to destroy her father, and probably Jacob, too." She murmured, and Sam nodded.

"She knew it was going to happen, and she didn't seem to care one bit about how her father would feel with losing his daughter before she could really do anything with her life," Sam stated,"If it wasn't for the leeches, she probably would've gotten far in her life, or maybe ended up with Jacob." He added, shaking his head with slight disappointment.

     Daria was glad she didn't have to make such a decision in her life. Sure, her family didn't know the truth about Sam and the pack, but it wasn't really her secret to tell. She and Sam had decided to sit together and talk, whilst Nymphadora slept against Sam's chest, and the everyone else talked amongst each other at the table.

      Only a couple of hours had passed since Daria and little Brian had gotten back to their family, so they were soaking in all of the time they could get together with everyone. Daria knew it would be a while before she'd be able to see her entire family again-- other than her uncle Brian, Aunt Mia, and her cousins, since they hadn't come to New York-- because she was going to be in Washington for a while before she has another visit with them.

"Have you decided?" Sam asked, causing Daria to bite her lip.

"Yes, I believe I have. I was thinking Tej and Roman. They've been a big part of my life for years. The pack will always be around, so I figured I'd give them a bigger role, ya know?" She commented, and he nodded.

"I agree with you, but what about a girl?" He asked, making her shrug.

"Ramsey isn't too bad, I mean, she's a nice girl. She's a loyal girl, and I believe she'd be very caring and loving if need be." Daria answered, and Sam agreed.

     Sam didn't know Ramsey well, but he knew she was a nice girl. She had helped him get Daria back, which gave the girl brownie points honestly. If it wasn't for her and so many others, Sam doubted he'd ever see Daria again, nor would Nymphadora ever see her mother again. He was eternally grateful that these people loved their family enough to put their lives on the line to save them, even to the point where they recruit their enemies to help. Sam doubted the Shaw brothers were ever going to be their enemies anymore, since they had helped so much with saving Daria and little Brian, as well as Dom in a way.

     Sam was pulled out of his thoughts when Daria groaned. His head quickly turned to her, seeing her holding her belly with a pained look on her face. The girl had felt an intense pain in her belly, which almost made tears come to her eyes. The pain wasn't like the ones from earlier, meaning something wasn't right.

"Are you alright? What's wrong?" Sam asked, his voice loud enough for the others to hear.

     Everyone at the table went quiet, as they turned towards Daria, Sam, and Nymphadora.

"Darling?" Letty called, causing the girl to look over.

"Im fine, Mom." She answered, but another pain went through her body, making the others quickly stand.

"No, you're not." Letty commented, as she rushed over to her daughter.

"I think it's a cramp. Help me stand." Daria said, and Letty nodded.

      Letty helped her daughter stand with Ramsey's help, but their eyes widened when Daria gasped and looked down, watching as liquid gushed out, meaning the girl's water had broken.

"Oh, god." Daria groaned, as she closed her eyes for a moment.

"The baby's coming!" Ramsey exclaimed, causing everyone to go into panic mode.

"Calm down!" Letty shouted, stopping everyone,"We have to get her downstairs and to a hospital, now!" She added, and everyone quickly began to work together.

     Dom and Sam carried the children downstairs, as Tej ran as fast as he could down the steps to grab a car. The pack stayed back with Deckard to help clean up, as Roman followed behind the girls to make sure nothing bad happened; such as someone falling down the stairs. Once everything was cleaned up, the pack followed the others, after Deckard asked the pack to say his farewells for him.

"C'mon, get in. We've got to move fast." Letty said, as she helped her daughter into the front seat of the car.

      Tej sat in the driver side, as Letty and Ramsey squeezed themselves into the small backseat to stay with Daria. Dom drove himself, Sam, and the two kids to the hospital behind Tej. Roman took some of the pack, and Paul took the rest.

"Faster, Tej! This boy isn't going to stay in as long as his sister did!" Daria exclaimed, causing Tej to slam his foot on the gas.

       As soon as they arrived at the hospital, Tej and Letty helped get Daria into a wheelchair, as Ramsey ran to get a nurse or doctor. Once a nurse came out, she had Tej push the wheelchair to a room, before she grabbed a hospital gown and other equipment she needed for Daria's stay and delivery. Sam, Dom, Nymphadora, and Roman were the only others allowed in the room, since everyone else wouldn't fit, but the others watched over little Brian for Dom, while he was with his daughter. Everyone seemed to be full of anxiety for the new baby, which didn't help Daria with her contractions or anxiety either...
